In the late 60's into the very early 70's my friend and I hung out in bowling alleys and pool halls to play pinball. Games were a quarter and we would each spend a couple dollars. That was all we could afford. Last year I bought my first game, Mata Hari and was the first time to play pinball again in almost 50 years. Old guys on this forum talk about the games they played as kids, remembering many details, in particular, the names of the games they played as kids. For the life of me, I can't remember any of the names of the games I played as a kid. Is there something wrong with me? As a side note, as a kid, I played to just keep the ball out of the drain. Didn't pay attention to any of the rules. Every once in a while a red light would illuminate on the playfield called "special" and if you were luck enough, you might hear a loud knock and win a free game. Took me almost 50 years to learn there are actually rules to winning lots of points and free games! I'm hooked again. Just wish I could remember what those games were I played as a kid.
