Sometimes a pinball skill is only useful on 1 pin - it doesn't translate to other games at all.

Congo: Completing "CONGO" on the lower playfield with your little gorilla arms.

Time Fantasy: Draining as quickly as possible during Time Ball play, so you can stop the clock and plunge again.

Please tag the game(s) that you mention in your post.

Variable Magna Save on Grand Lizard. Using it to flip the ball back into the center of the playfield (not just holding the ball in place)

Tommy--the blinders that cover the flippers. That really is a fun and challenging feature.

Um yeah, pretty much <any video mode>
Speaking of which, do they still make video modes? If not, when was the last one ?

Outside of the 90s...T3, Elvis. I don't recall seeing video modes much past the early 2000's pins. Then again, I haven't had a whole lot of game time on those either.

Respecting the bounce on WNBJM. If it looks like it is going down the guts, leave it and chances are it will bounce of one of the two posts.

I use the skill of ignoring a button on the left side of the cabinet on a few other games, BK2K for example.

There is no Skill needed for pinball! You cannot control that ball, no matter how much you think you can! It goes where it wants! Therefore its luck.

Its not Chess! No skill needed!

TSPP reverse flippers. Might be a WOZ reverse too? But it's pretty rare.

^^^^This is laughable, go play some of the top rank players and come back and say there's no skill

Bowen can beat you 999 out of 1000 games. Good luck.

I'm not even gonna give the benefit of that 1 win and just say all 1000.

Jackbot, smash the extra ball button during stuff like Keno to 'cheat' and get more points, works on the bonus count to increase your bonus x and I think you can use it in casino run? I don't know of any other machines that does that. We were playing it in a league meet the other day and everyone kept asking me why I kept hitting the extra ball button so much. Only a couple of other people seemed to know this already!

It's the best kept secret in pinball that's advertised on the DMD during the machine's attract mode.
