Quoted from kruzman:Mirco makes great pf,s. Of course I wouldn't install them stock, but I wouldn't install any reproduction pf stock. I guess it goes for nos also because they need a clear because of their age,
Anyway, 30% of my business is mirco pf's. The strong point is their tight print and colors. He must pull the flawed planks because his line up of different colored screens is perfect. I don't know anything of inserts popping (though I know he made the cpr inserts that popped, his pf do not have that problem).
His clear is wavy, thick and sometimes sloppy. There are often burrs where the router worked. This is all stuff that I fix. When I am done with them, I am very confident, they are the best in the market.
His colors have been a bit off on the first run of MM, but the original pf's were printed by 3 or 4 different companies that had different color mixes every day. So all of the NOS stuff varies quite a bit. Plus now they are all faded to different levels
So there is an opinion of someone who has owned and worked on about 100 of them
Out of curiosity, what would you do extra to them before you install one?
