PPM's Annex, the most pinball games set up in one place on the planet!! probably the most games NOT set up too.... but that's another story (sorry pinwizTom...we're working on 'em...I promise)
Just amazing to see all of the historical games along side almost every 40's thru 70's game made not to mention all of the solid state games, just an unbelievable place to be. I ride my skateboard from one end of the collection to the other and am just blown away at the sheer volume of working games.

Also a shout out to California Academy of Sciences and the PPM for setting up games next to the massive aquariums, nothing like playing atlantis next to an actual shark!

    Quoted from ectobar:

When is the Annex open? Is it a special event type deal? I get out to Alameda occasionally and have been to the PPM several times but never heard of the Annex. The PPM website doesn't seem to mention it either.

Unfortunately the annex is not really open to the public, I'm not sure what I'm allowed to share here but suffice to say we are trying to get it open to the public but the "ghost ship" situation out here has everybody's panties in a twist.
It has been open a few times, one Pins and Pints event and one weekend show, along with a few openings to sell off some of our surplus/doubles/triples etc. I think we're opening it up in October for another sale.
Know that there is a seriously dedicated team working hard to open this unbelievable collection to the public and we WILL get it open somehow.
From what I can count we have just about 2 thousand machines in there now and we have had one of the biggest and most significant historical collections recently donated, I've heard that we are getting another 1,200-1,500 games donated, so far only 30-40 have showed up but we are making arrangements to get the rest.
    Patience I guess.
