I'd like to know what you all consider the Coolest Location you have played pinball at? This can be any location that has pin's, from your past to present. expected or unexpected, Worth the travel?, Good prices?, Good atmosphere?, what makes a location good? Tell us your experience's and post photos!

    My top 3, ATM.

    1. VFW, Hands down the best collection, in the best shape, IN THE WORLD!!! if you disagree that means you haven't seen it with your own eyes. Clay is the best at what he does and this Collection is the best EVER! only problem is its only open to public one weekend out of the year, but its worth what ever it takes to make it! you can't miss this! http://vfwpinball.com/

    2. Budapest Pinball Museum, I was in Budapest on a backpacking trip, during a rainy afternoon I was searching for "in-door fun" and was pleasantly surprised to find the Budapest Pinball Museum "Europe's largest pinball collection". The building is super cool with a "dungeon" feel, and great use of pinball parts as decoration. They had a lot of great and rare pinballs. A lot of pins from Europe that I've never seen before, including a "Sexy Girls"!!! Its a great price, about 13$(U.S.) gets you a wristband for up to 12 hours of free play, save your wristbands cus if you go 3 times the 4th is free! the wristband allows you to leave and return as much as you want, so your able to make a whole day of pinball! http://www.flippermuzeum.hu/hu/

    3. St. Louis City Museum, This place is amazing! no words can do it justice. This may be my Favorite place on the planet. I'd love to tell you about it but, well you just have to see it with your own eyes. Its basically just a Huge 10 Story building that a "mad Genius" turned into the greatest Jungle Gym/Fun House. Its not just for kids, with its 4 Hidden bars and open past midnight on weekends. I've gone there 3 times and it wasn't until the last time that I finally discovered a hidden bar full of vintage pinball machines, including the biggest collection of pitch and bats I've ever seen. all in great shape, all for only .25cents. There is no map, so bring a flash light, good shoes, and your inner child. https://www.citymuseum.org/

    Runners up ( honorable mention)

Cabin Fever Toronto CA. This place is sooooo pinball. Tiny place with nothing but pinheads and pinball, Great music and Drinks. oh and one bad ass owner! This place makes me want to move to Toronto! http://www.cabinfeverco.ca/

Head Quarters Chicago (both locations) This was the first BarCade I ever went too. i'll never forget that night, pure magic! This place is for adults who want to take a trip back to the wonder years. Great Drinks, pinball on freeplay. Its often over crowed on weekends but yea its worth it. http://www.hqbeercade.com/

    Quoted from Cheddar:

The campground at the Golden State Pinball Festival. People hanging out at their campsites with a couple of pins setup. Drop in, have a drink, play some games. A super chill way to enjoy pinball outside.
Then play in the midnight madness tournament under the stars

Outdoor pinball?!?!?!?! That is super cool, such a California thing! lol

    Quoted from Homebar124:

There is a non profit pinball museum in north myrtle beach, S.C. my kids and I went to. They had just over 2 dozen machines and we had a blast. You pay an entry free and the games are set to free play. Their proceeds go to make a wish and St. Jude children hospital.

Do you remember the name of it? maybe post a website link.

    Quoted from MrBally:

Playland in Flint, Michigan on Pasadena Avenue. The other location on M-54 was not as good. Once the Pasadena Ave. location closed, the other location was "good enough" though.

what were some of the highlights of "playland", and when did it close its doors?

    Quoted from tomdrum:

Costa Rico years ago. A casino had a well worn Bally Playboy, 3 balls for 300 Colones or .50 cents. The legal working girls were 2 balls for $50 or $100 for the night.

hahahahahhahahah, great prices! planning my trip now!
