I believe they initially called them "swinging targets", hence the machine name. I just sold a beautiful example of this game. For me, it was fun to play, for a while, but didn't have the staying power to remain in the collection. This was based partly on game play and partly on the artwork, which I find to be less appealing than others in my collection.
