Hey all,

A seller was telling me that he had to shell out $200 for a bass chip in the LAH he is selling. Is this about the right price? Do you know of a site where I can order one? Are the easy to install if you've never done it yourself before?

Thanks in advance!

??? Never heard of such a thing. Did he mean an aftermarket speaker kit perhaps?

I wonder if he's yanking your chain on this one.

Never heard of it.

He could be talking about a new amplifier chip or something on the sound board but even those would be CHEAP.... (like under $20 i think)

the amplifier chips are a couple bucks, I have had to replace them before.

he could be talking about the sound chip, but for 200 you could buy several lah boards.

If it's the BSMT 2000 chip, those are not easy to find. But 200 bucks? Somebody got taken!
