It all can be repaired or replaced. So, I look at it as:
Can I fix it, to make it like new for cheaper than a restored one?...
Yes: buy it and put in the work.
No: Pass and look for a better example
I honestly had someone tell me today, "I will only buy a pinball machine if it's guaranteed not to break"...
My response: Well... It's not a hobby for you!
