As lowepg also said, it is a niche thing, pinball ownership, so I think there are enough stoners, er, Lebowski fans (huge venn diagram overlap?) that would get a Lebowski pin. I don't own any but would totally love that if someone did one well.

Either way, I'm also up for a Star Trek since that seems to be the most likely option from Stern next?

    Quoted from gearheaddropping:

Guys. Big Lebowski is a fringe theme. I enjoy it but if I line up friends, almost none of them have even heard of it and it was produced in 1998! Crap, Fargo is a more known Cohen brothers movie.
Again, no LCD, no money from me to Stern. Its a game changer from JJP and needs to be on all future games. No LCD on Star Trek = cancelled deposit. Yes...I have a deposit on Star Trek with a distributor.

    Quoted from LOTR_breath:

Of course we've been hearing Star Trek for some time now, but a lot of people are saying it might not be the next pin. Stern usually releases 3 titles/year so I expect another pin around October/November. What I've been hearing a lot is The Muppets. Also, and this will sound crazy, I've been hearing from a particular Stern dealer for a long time now......wait for it....... Forest Gump. I keep telling him he's crazy.
BTW, what's up with all the Big Lebowski chatter? Why would they make a pin based off of a 15 year old movie with no sequel?

Having a sequel doesn't mean something is a good fit for a pinball machine and vice versa right? I mean in today's Hollywood, it's all about that for 'franchises' and all, but damn, Lebowski if freaking awesome! I guess I'm jaded since I have loved that film since I first saw it when it came out (yeah I'm old). If you haven't seen it, definitely check it out and you'll see how easily it could be a pin. So many crazy things like Marmot multiball? And any movie with an In-n-Out reference wins for me too. I'd love to see that integrated somehow although that's not likely with licensing etc.
