Road Show, decent cabinet, a little faded, very nice playfield, tape over holes on coin door. Center target bank not reading hits, a couple of bulbs out here and there. Superficial scratches on backbox and cabinet, but not bad. Has bill acceptor and shaker motor (was this on them originally?). Clearly a routed game, but not bad...what should I pay?

2500

Shaker motor was original bill acceptor not. Looks pretty nice. Assuming it's simple switch issues I would think 2500-2800

Assuming no fish wear, 2400-2600

Fish wear? I think you misidentified the game.

If you're not joking, the city scoop shoots out onto a fish. If you are joking, I don't get it

Either way, lol at how cheap Road Show is. Best deal in pinball by far.

Not the one from Allentown, right? All sorts of things were not working properly on that one. If not and you spent $2500 like everyone is saying, you'd be extremely happy with the amount of machine you'll be getting for that price. Great game!

#11 3 years ago

I would say around 2500 if it's fully working.

#12 3 years ago

2500 is about right I assume it's the one in Littleton.

OK, I got it. Was able to solve the center bulldozer target problem by just adjusting the potentiometer a bit. The bulldozer arm still gets stuck when moving up and down. Feels like a mechanical problem. Overall, very pleased with the purchase. Very fun game.

Well... How much did you grab it for? You came here for the buying advice so only seems fair to finish the story.

#15 3 years ago

Fair point, whysnow, it was $1800. For the record, prior to the sale I linked the seller directly to this thread. He knew what it is worth. I am still having a few issues with the bulldozer arm. I think I'll open a new thread for some advice...

RS is now an $1800 game!

Anyone interested in selling, please PM me!!!!

congrats on the pickup. One of the few games I have sold and regret selling. Just so much going on and the shots are great once you learn it. Hint: increase your bonus X as high as possible each ball!

It should be a fun one. Might be good for Dory Hill...u planning to come?

I will be at Dory.

With any luck I will be bringing my TX-Sector to trade with a CO pinhead (assuming things work out). I will then likely bring my new pin and likely 1 or 2 of my brothers pins (TOff and CBW) to set up at our 2 cabins.
