I have a Ship-Mates with a very nice PF, 66 Mayfair with a near new PF and new BG on the way. Cab is poor but I live restoring them. Sunshine, Very nice PF with little to no wear and a Big Top, semi rare AAB with a 9+ BG and a 7ish pf and a very sorry Spin-A-Card needing a BG and full pf repaint.

Saw this other Spin-A-Card - *maybe* a candidate for making one good one?

Totem (Gottlieb system 1) - I have a very nice used PF that's going to get a bit of touch-up and auto clear coat. Just put a NOS backglass in it.

I'll probably have the nicest Totem out there, since no one else out there cares enough about the game to restore one.

...then, if I don't botch that, my blown-out Eight Ball Deluxe LE will get a new PF as well.

    #9 7 years ago

My EATPM will soon be my first restore attempt. Cabinet Decals on the way,Just waiting on Ramps to become available.

    #10 7 years ago

    Time Fantasy
    Abra Ca Dabra
    Joker Poker
    Cleopatra
    Q*Berts Quest

I'll be starting pf touchups on TF in the next few weeks. I haven't done any serious pinball resto in a few years now so it's time to back at it!

I'm going to dive into this Strato-Flite here soon, but probably after I get a section of the basement painted for a small game room. I'll be posting a lot more on Pinside in specific threads to help me repair Strato-Flite, because I have no idea what I'm doing (currently).

    #12 7 years ago

My one and only pin, Gulfstream. It's on hold until I finish remodeling my basement.

    #13 7 years ago

Just got a Stern Big Game tonight..Yee Ha Home use 99% of its life and it shows...

Not really a restore as its one of the nicest untouched original games i have ever seen..

So a full on shop, and etc for that one...

    ...

Got a Gottlieb World Series comin this week sometime, and that is gonna be a full blown deal...

And i am sure a few more to add to the ticket here in a few weeks..

Thanks for the heads up. Much better than mine. I may upgrade if I can get him to move a little off the asking price.

Working on a Majorettes and Ace High in my basement, my 1950 Bank a Ball is sitting awaiting it's playfield to return being touched up.

In my shop/garage I have a Bowling Queen that needs to be put back together, a Paradise that will follow when the BQ is done, 2 Capt Fantastics that 1 will emerge as a keeper, and a Surf N'Safari that I may not get too for a while. At a friends house we're working on a Recel Lady Luck, but there are 6 other major projects from a barn find waiting in the wings. Also a BOP at another friends getting put back together eventually, along with a Bally All Star Bowling that I really hope to get to this summer.

In Storage, too many, including 3 Paragons, a North Star, Black Hole, Atlantis that I just got a new backglass for, a Fast Draw awaiting a playfield swap, EATPM, Big Hit, 2001, Hi-Score pool, and I'm sure more I've forgotten.

Currently working on a Skateball. Finished cabinet sanding and starting repairs. Once the cabinet is done it'll be put aside until it warms up a bit for painting. Till then, I'll move on to the playfield teardown and deep cleaning/touchup.

Next in line after Skateball is a '47 Gottlieb Lady Robin Hood. She's been waiting patiently for a while.

    #19 7 years ago

Working on a Gottlieb High hand wedgehead now.
    - in queue
#2 - Williams Alien poker SS
#3 - Gottlieb Top Card wedgehead EM

#5 - Hopefully a couple of Bally bingo pins that I am picking up soon

    #20 7 years ago

    #21 7 years ago

Flintstones, WCS, IJ, TZ, Scared Stiff, Whirlwind, CFTBL. Those are the ones that are apart and unplayable ATM

There are some others that are playable that I intend to restore, like my White Water.

    #22 7 years ago

Airborne is almost done, and next up I think will be Terminator 3.

Which, strangely enough, could be my first foray into LED's.

I am restoring a 1969 Williams Suspense right now. It's working pretty well now so I'm working on making it look better. Lots of rust so I've been making use of a decent amount of Evapo-Rust. Playfield is very dirty but I started cleaning it up last night. Backglass is a mess and one plastic is broken. I've got my work cut out for me on this one.
Next up is a Target Alpha that I own. The legs are missing but otherwise it looks pretty good with maybe just a little bit of backglass touch-up. It works but has issues so I'll be working more on the contacts, etc. on that one.
These are my first pins and I'm having a blast working on them. Beer helps...

    Nope. I'm keeping it.

Cactus Canyon halfway done waiting for the playfield. Afm or Whirlwind up next followed by Earthshaker and EATPM someday when new playfields are available.

    #32 7 years ago

Doing a Diamond Jack now and just got thru webbing the cab. Just finished populating the NOS playfield.
Next in line is a Capt Card. The playfield is in good shape but I have lead on an NOS one so that can go either way.

    #33 7 years ago

No pins at the moment. But 1 cool 1950's pachinko machine I've had in a parts bucket for a year.

I have a ton of invention experiments in queue. Currently trying to engineer a vinyl record cleaning machine.

    #34 7 years ago

If it were me, I would have tried to just clean and polish the rivets with a small piece of paper towel and Novus 3 and wipe off.

No chance of hurting the surrounding plastic target area that way.

Solar Fire & Star Gazer. Both playfields restored by Neo. Both cabinets painted. Solar Fire is starting this week and then Star Gazer. Would love to find a project Scared Stiff or Centar to add to my list.

    #36 7 years ago

I have Casino, Wizard, and Captain Fantastic waiting in the wings- as well as a Lady Luck woodrail I now own- oh I also have a 50's united puck bowler- keep forgetting about that one.....

Just about finished with Target Alpha- some very annoying issues to sort on that and then it's time to clean and shop Big Deal ( in the game room now) before I choose the next project pin.

    #37 7 years ago

Well, EBD-LE to get working, clean up, rebuild flippers, bumpers, etc. A certain Genie is coming my way from the OP, and soon after that a Flash Gordon. I also have a 75 Williams Big Ben I have yet to get running properly, then will decide whether to build a cab for and a Solar Ride to decide if it is worth to get running (and build a cabinet for).

So yeah, not much. Oh yeah and some other projects not to be mentioned here...

    #38 7 years ago

Oh yeah, and a 1930's carnival crane.

having a drac done very soon.....

    #42 7 years ago

You know, this got me thinking. I think this is the very reason my collection continues to grow. I really enjoy tearing down and fixing pins. In fact, maybe more than playing them. Just the satisfaction of getting them tip-top. Sometimes when I have all my pins up 100% I get bored and wish I had a project to work on.

    #43 7 years ago

Working on Flash right now, then Finish Hyperball. Then Card Whiz, Centaur, Vector, Aztec.

    #44 7 years ago

Finishing up my Monster Bash and up next is Addams Family and then Whirlwind.

Just putting the finishing touches on my 1962 Bally Silver Sails bingo pinball i got here in NJ last year. It came without a back glass. I picked a beautiful NOS backglass after i bought the game on ebay.A few days ago i installed a beautiful Silver Sails playfield in the game and removed the factory Golden Gate playfield that came with the game when i bought it. The last picture is the Golden Gate playfield that Bally used from many left over from the run of Golden Gate manufactured the month before Silver Sails. SS and GG are twins.
