Hey Everyone I just saw some of the recent posts. I know many of you personally including Glarrownage and POMC who are both excellent guys and I have talked to BigD1979 before and he also has a great rep. Just remember that just like writing emails and writing on a forum people can take things the wrong way or misunderstand the tone of something or even not know the proper protocol of handling things. Also I know from experience that when you are somewhat anonymous and the people you are "Talking" to are also we sometimes will say things we wouldn't if we knew them.
I once posted pictures of a machine I was working on that was of a high value that I was looking to sell. It was so KILLED and criticized on Pinside that I literally had people that were serious buyers contact me and say sorry can't buy it anymore. I then had people actually apologize for being so critical realizing it totally hurt my chances of selling it on this forum. The DC/Balt/PA area is a GREAT market place for pinball.
Finally I am not defending any of the statements made people need to live with the consequences. HOWEVER Lets stay civil and remember that we all end up interacting it seems like at a certain time. If you feel slighted do your best to ignore or contact that person privately.

Okay, it's obvious that you are not only very upset about this for some reason but also directing it at me. I'll try to explain this one last time and then I'll take it to PM. I saw an ad on Craigslist with a pinsider name that I knew. The ad didn't make a lick of sense to me, I laughed at it being so awkward. I posted it in a local thread for one of two reasons 1. To find out if it was real, since I have seen worse real for sale ads before and 2. To get the backstory of just what exactly I was reading. I really didn't see the ad as being as offensive as you did obviously.
For all I knew, this was some inside joke between BigD and someone else. Forgive me for asking about a backstory, I thought there may be some comical history to the post. I really don't understand what exactly you found so offensive or why you continue to accuse me of something so stupid. Maybe you don't recognize my name because I stay out of the Pinside drama (until now apparently). I read most of the posts on here but only post when others need help, documenting my restorations, and a thread I started that will help hobbyists connect with other pinsiders to get the services and parts they need (Pinsider Talent Directory). This whole incident is exactly why I don't get involved with people here in general.

O wow i love animals i wanna possibly volunteer some time. Im in the middle of trying to save my cat right now . Ive spent so much time and money the last few years and especially the last few months on the little guy i could of bought a dream pin but my cat is much more important to me and is possibly y i may have to sell my wh20 .

My avatar is my rescue dog that we got from a kill shelter. How anybody could kill such a beautiful animal is beyond me. If everybody with the financial means adopted one animal, there wouldn't be any more shelters (as long as animals got spayed).

Totally! Also, if someone posted an ad about me on craigslist I would want someone to bring it to my attention so I could clarify publicly. If you are going to York, I'll see you there. I'll be in Allentown too. Expo.... may not happen this year, too much going on but I really want to go.

Dude, I'm so sorry about your cat. My animals have always been my family so I totally understand. If you ever need a companion for him/her let us know. Unfortunately, we have people trying to give up their cats all the time. We are a dog rescue but social media is a pretty powerful thing, we always will try to place any animal we can.

That's awesome! I wish more people would think that way. All the dogs we get are from high kill shelters, it's a very difficult organization to run (emotionally). We see the worst in human beings (the horrible abuse these animals are put through) but we also see the best (People like you that adopt). I've been thinking of ways to incorporate pinball, I think we may start a spay and neuter awareness campaign/minor pinball event called "Balls Across America" 
. We are a new non-profit but our goal is to build a local facility to house the rescues that are awaiting their forever homes. Right now we are a foster based organization that also pays to board some of our rescues when we don't have any available foster homes. We currently have 4 in our house, two of our own and two fosters. Sorry for going so off topic, eventually I'll get a plan together and start a thread about it here on Pinside. Regardless, thank you for adopting Boob!

Still have a nice X-Files for sale or trade. I really need to take pics and post in the market forum and CL, but still haven't gotten around to it. If anyone is interested in it, then that's certainly my incentive to do that. Let me know of your trade proposal...always prefer trading over selling.
Pinside only deals. I bought it for $1500 and will sell it to a Pinsider for $1500.
For $1600 I will include the mirror blades I installed that will be seen in the photos. Highly recommended and the pin looks SO cool with them. Great effect for the theme and the bright LEDs.
For $1650 you get the mirror blades and a powered, external, subwoofer.
What is great:
- Fully shopped, shiny, clean and plays FAST.
- Full LEDs, although they aren't non-ghosting, so some inserts do flicker, but LEDs really pop in this game.
- NO WEAR at all on the playfield in front of the file cabinet where the magnet it. Looks like the area was covered with mylar from day one. A lot of X-Files will have the factory fix of an ugly metal place due to heavy wear on this area.
- Lollipop flipper buttons covers that hide the paint wear below the buttons.
- Cabinet art looks nice with only a few minor scratches.
- Flipper Super Bands, clear sling rubber, neon green star posts on the slings.
- Spotlight added to Flukeman.
What you might be concerned about:
- Crack in the file cabinet, but not a big deal compared to the real damage seen on most others.
- Some insert wear on the left edge of the insert between the flippers.
- Lockbar holes in front of the cabinet, but have been painted black to conceal.
Pick up in Harpers Ferry, WV - a few minutes from Hollywood Casino and Racetrack in Charles Town. I can also bring to the York show if paid ahead of time.

THIS IS AND HAS BEEN AN AWESOME THREAD!!!! I have bought and sold though it since it came up. It has been wonderful for this area.
Glad to see the "Virtual" handshakes and better understanding. As I mentioned I have had Glarrownage and PoMC and COYOTE and many others to my home and have done business with all of you. I can vouch for each one of them as GREAT individuals FIRST and then GREAT contributers to this Hobby. Each one of those I named has offered equipment and resources to me at no cost. I love the hobby for that reason as I have made friends with everyone I meet.
SO BACK TO BUSINESS--I may have a couple of machines coming in on trade through a number of recent deals. I will have a second owner home use Stern Batman Dark Knight in beautiful condition with full Cointaker LEDS. Also a players Judge Dredd that I fully shopped and LED'ed as well. No credit errors and looks and plays great. PM me with interest I have have not priced them out yet until they are fully in my possession.

I'm adding the more popular mods that I have extra. Full LEDs, Shaker Motor, Full cliffy, pop bumper mod, Light cycles mod, Arcade mod, flynn sign. I'm going to sell it for what I have in it. Hoping to have it in this weekend.
Had two guys PM me within an hour of each other that they want the MAME arcade machine. Hated breaking the news to the one guy because he PMed me a few days ago about possible trade or working out shipping to MI if a trade worked. Then this morning a local-ish guy I know asked if it was still available and let's arrange a time for him to pick it up.
An hour later the first guy says he'll take it and can Pay Pal a deposit so it's secured until we work out shipping. Damn, he was excited about it and then had to tell him it looks like it was spoken for an hour earlier.
I don't know what's up with the pics and why they are so small. Here's the market ad...I can send pics via email. It's as clean as if it came out of the box, only better since all tweaks have been made and mods added. I would trade, but whatever I trade for wont be a keeper as I need space. I'm at 8 pins and literally only have room for 7...talk about real world problems.
If anyone wants to build a really nice MAME with a proper monitor. I have a 27" Kortek Tri-Sync monitor. Looking to get $400 for it. It was in a golf game that I purchased without a monitor. Gave away the golf game without the monitor.
