Going out of town for a few days but Looking for Game of Thrones pro. Stern Indy jones or TWD pro. Have a nice loaded Stranger Things pro with nice mods to trade.
I’ve decided to finally let go of my Funhouse. Playfield has been touched up and a Playfield protector installed. A ton of new parts including: new ramps (previous owner), new plastic set, new disc assembly, new trap door and hinge assembly, new lamp shade (by Pam), new flipper bats, rubbers, etc. nice but a players game.
$4800 firm....what I have into it.
I am selling Pinball trash on Ebay if anyone is interested. Its not classy enough for Pinside....well maybe the original Pinbot decals are...but the rest hmmm. Decided not to sell it here after the Grammar Police scandal that had to go to the supreme pinball court of opinion. Here’s the good and bad of it all:
Bad:
No legs
Issues with displays
Missing interlock switch.
Both locks have been drilled out.
Needs a complete shop.
Back glass is flaking in large spots, but most pieces have been saved.
Good:
Game plays 100%, all switches and coils.
Sound working 100%
All rubbers were replaced 2 weeks ago, so game could be played and tested.

I wonder if a solder iron would get the bolt hot enough to free the locktight? I've done it with smaller bolts before.

As a former owner of an RFM, I'm confused by this. The head is held on by a pair of threaded hex bolts on each side. Even with lock-tite applied, one hex key set inside the machine holding the receiving end, and one outside the machine applying counter torque, should have easily broken them free. I bought a set of T-Handle hex's at Harbor Freight to make it easier on the hands for a lot of pinball stuff.

I got one of four out. There was glue visible on the threads of that one. The other would not budge and I put about everything I could into it. The owner tried as well. The two pieces (bolt and female receiving end) were glued solid.

That sucks. Was there no hardware store close by just to go buy a drill? If you aren't already aware, check out all the cool software applejuice is adding to this game. If you are into mods, get his shaker harness+a Sam shaker and add a powered sub. It makes for an impressive experience.

We gave up and I was already well on my way home when the drilling method even occurred to me. I’ve been wanting a RFM for a while, so I hope to make it as good as possible and make it a keeper. I’ve seen the shaker mod, which is awesome, but I’ll have to check out the other updates.

Thanks, but I actually did that drive a second day in a row. I drilled out the 3 remaining bolt and got the head off. Got it home and it's already set up and working....although the head's held on with temporary replacement bolts for the time being.
