I have one just south of Cleveland. All ground mods done. All new Ni-Wumph MPU and Driver boards. New Swemmer audio board and amp. All pop bumper boards updated. New black hole spinning motor at proper speed. Game plays 100% and has full LEDs. I put a lot of time and effort in to this machine. I also have a complete original set of boards which have also been rebuilt.
Cabinet is bright but has typical Knicks and dings here and there. The playfield is a 7.5/8 with some wear around the original pop bumper ring mylars. I have a spare lower playfield as well.
I know it sounds high but $2600 is my asking price considering every electronic board is new and the LEDs.
With new Roms the complete second set of boards could repair any System 80 game.
Looking for an Iron Man 2010 no need for a VE in the greater CLE area. Does not need to be Mint. A Player's machine will suffice if the price is right.
Any other Stern titles from Y2K and newer priced to move in the area?
Also interested in a priced right Whirlwind.

I would be a buyer on that Popeye or another in similar condition around $1500
Not motivated at all. I would have gone Monday for the Popeye at $1500 even with the awful faded art. He counter offers with an ebay listing for a fully restored one at $5700 as to where his price game from. I attempted to educate him on the market value and he told me not to contact him anymore.
My guess is he will eventually get desperate and realize he should have taken my money because I am guessing if someone goes to see it in person the offer would be lower.

POPEYE SOLD
Popeye will be restored. I have new control panel insert and side Art. Working Sanyo monitor but needs a rewire as it came with a bootleg board and I have an original Nintendo somewhere.
Winner works with the original Packard bell monitor in it!
They are in the basement at my parents home not too far from and I can dig them out. Owned both since 1999

I rather not drive more than 1 Hour from Cleveland and would like to try and keep it in the low to mid $2000 range.
The Shadow I picked up from Tlsbryan is undergoing a transformation and repair. GI has been repaired, complete with new board headers and new connectors. Playfield has been torn down, cleaned and waxed. The very minimal sanctum wear has now been protected with a mylar. All new Color Matching LED lights, new LED Flashers. Replacement Aurich translite and speaker panel. New back box speakers. All new rubbers, and flipper Super-bands will be here soon.
The back box could use new decals if one was so inclined, but I am not.
1 Ring was missing, but that is on the way.
1 Mongol was missing, but that too is on the way.
Brand New Plastics installed where old were broken. Have remaining unused ones in a bag
Game plays great, no credit dot.
I am "thinking" I may list it on the market but wanted to see if there is any local interest first. The game is growing on me but I rather have something else on my wishlist.
I assume the remaining parts should be here within the next week to 10 days and I can finish up polishing the wireforms as my time permits.

I opted for a dedicated 4 way stick and a full analog stick instead of a spinner. I was never one for tempest.

IDC Snap-On Socket (With Diode)
Space is now at a premium so I am listing my beautiful Black Hole. New Ni-Wumph MPU/driver boards and Updated Pop Bumper Boards. Ground mods all done. Caps replaced. Displays are all bright working 100%. Both backglasses are perfect. Motor replaced and working. All LED 5050 SMD bulbs from Comet. Perfectly leveled playfield window. Typical pop bumper wear from original mylars but other than that this game is in amazing condition considering it is 35 years old. I doubt you will find a better functioning system 80!
I have the original MPU board and spare lower playfield which can be purchased separately.
Asking $2400 for the BH but listening to offers.

For those who have yet to ask, I have gotten a lot of PMs about my Black Hole, and as such a few repeat questions about it. Here are the answers to those questions.
Yes all the bulbs are LED now, even the lower playfield GI.
No I did not modify the bulbs to run on lower voltage. I did buy Cointaker 313 bulbs designed to run at the original spec.
Both the MPU and Driver board have been replaced and are Ni-Wumpf.

The board has additonal features such as Free Play mode, 7 digital scrollable scoring, as well as diagnostics not found on the original board.

Anyone interested in some DMD game trading? I have these 3 setup in my garage at the moment and figured I would see if anyone has interest in trades.
I need to rebuild the flippers on the T2, and parts are on the way for that. Otherwise in very good condition.
South Park lockdown bar is currently at the powder coater being refinished and a Cartman hole cliffy is on the way.
Demolition Man has near perfect playfield, plays great but needs a new 6264 on the display driver, and parts to repair that were ordered last night. Display does work but has a double up row occasionally due to the ram issue.
All three are playing properly. No credit dots on the WPC games and the South Park has no switch errors either.

I have a cliffy coming for the Cartman hole but Cliff told me he was getting ready for Expo when I ordered it and told me it may be delayed until he was done prepping.
Considering how heavily routed these were due to success on location it is certainly not going to be perfect. It is however better than many other off route games I have had.

Lol! I would honestly love to replace the toilet, but a replacement is just not available. It plays fine though. Tough when only ~2000 games were made and not enough market for someone to reproduce the part.

Demotime is fun. I think it adds a lot of replay value to the game. Something seemed missing before. I also slapped a red rubylith overlay on the DMD. The red dots match the game so much better.

What version? I burned a 1.01 Rom
Haven't noticed anything so offputting but to each his own which is why the original rom is included.
No offense taken. It is just cool someone spent the time using FreeWPC to basically build the code from scratch and to add additional features. Just breathes new life in to a game, especially after it has been in a collection for awhile.
I contemplated going original Rom and Pinsound board to make custom audio for it from the film but if I did that someone would ultimately need to absorb the pinsound board expense and well it is still just a DM.
I put the Pinsound in the T2 I picked up and well that was the best upgrade I have done to a Pin.
I have one in my SWDE and my JP as well. TZ and STTNG will be getting them next.

The bad news is a coil lug shorted and burned a transistor on the driver board which is going to need repairs.

$550 and you can take it away. Walk out basement for easy access.
I figure rebuilding both flippers and replacing the coils plus a new driver board is $205 at Marco’s which gives you a working Gottlieb for $755.
If you can fix the driver board which looks doable you save $100 and have a game for $650.

I just picked up a decked out X-men LE and something needs to go so I am offering up my insanely nice Star Trek The Next Generation.
Has Pinsound Board with custom audio and Flipper fidelity speakers and sub. Also features updated hallmark ships and laser mods for the cannons and comet LEDs.
Game plays 100%, no credit dot, and was shipped completely about a year ago and has seen minimal play since that time.
Playfield has no wear other than some insert stuff common to the shields.
Cabinet is in excellent condition.
I hate to see this one go but it doesn’t get much play and someone else should get to enjoy it.

Really nice Jokerz! On the fence about selling it. Playfield is good with original Mylar still in place. Minimal wear, much better than most other Jokerz! I passed on while looking for one.
Completely shopped, new rubber, comet LEDs throughout. Card motor working, bridge ramp working.
New upper playfield and decal.
Cabinet is in nice shape too. Not faded.
I’ll say $1900 as I am not so inclined to sell it but I have a BKSORLE coming and I am really out of space.

It has been converted to Comet LEDs and has a LED ColorDMD.
I have extra Pawtucket Patriot Ale decals for the beer can and some extra “nighttime” character figures which would be included for Peter and Lois if you were so inclined to swap them out.
If there is interest I will bring it up to the garage so it can be seen in a “social distancing” way and wiped down with disinfecting wipes prior to and post any play testing. I also have gloves available.

Sold both pro and premium before I got my Tron sold and I wouldn’t have had the space to end up taking both home.
Premium went for $7800. Wouldn’t take an order on one because prices are probably going up next week.

No Pinstadiums. Comet 5050 SMDs. I find them to be a good balance of bright without being blinding.
