I'm actually surprised this wasn't focused on instead of spiderman. Had that come out a month ago it would have serious impact on hobbit sales, especially if it were priced right. Perhaps they couldn't get the license because JJP currently has rights to it right now.

Jaws would have me opening my checkbook, just like GB did. No thanks to another super hero or rock band pin.

    #54 8 years ago

    I also cast a vote for U2.

    A $599 GB lightbar/siren "Ecto-1" topper.

I hope they fix the versions of the prototypes.

    Quoted from PinMonk:

Could bring some sanity to the LE pricing.

    Quoted from Fast-Ed:

It sure would. Attention all owners dump them for 12k while you still can!

Does the price of an LE come down when suddenly there are more pros available......???.................Joey

Aerosmith then batman vault with 1960's theme.

    #60 8 years ago

I do believe "Aerosmith" is just factory code name. I heard the real game is Motley Crue. Don't care for either one.

    Then the game immediately TILTs

Actually, they could bring back the gobble hole and put a picture of Courtney Love around it.

I must be the only person who doesn't care for the Dirty Donny art on MET. Rip KISS all u want for various reasons but O'Connor's art is killer. So glad DD didn't do KISS. I just dont like the wacky "madball" like renderings of the MET members. Didn't mean to hijack this thread. Back on topic!!

    #67 8 years ago

    Lol and the downvoting begins!!

    #68 8 years ago

I am voting JAWS as well......

I can hear the quote now......"We're gonna need some bigger balls"......lol

    #69 8 years ago

I sure hope it's an geriatric rock band or some other rehash of what's already been done. I don't know what I would do if they release another game at the GB level this year.

Jurassic World as supposed to be soon as well.

Close.. Jurassic world is code name for the Aerosmith project.

nooooooo, not Maiden.....I wanted the original Riggs artwork for Maiden.

Riggs has a terrible relationship with Maiden now so I doubt that. Unless you just want a photoshop collage of old album covers which would make for a pretty lazy art package.

Yeah, it's a shame when guys could work together for decades and then come to the point they can t stand in the same room together without everything going wrong.

    Waters/Gilmour comes to mind

    #76 8 years ago

    None.

Close shop and go out on a high note.

    #77 8 years ago

    Aerosmith = hell no
    Iron Maiden = slight maybe
    Jaws = hell yes
    JW = strong maybe

Honestly not a fan of music/band themes.

Very interesting.....and relevant since Batman and Superman are about to get it on.
If Lyman is also working to polish the code man........ Really need deeper pockets

I spoke to Lyman at the EPC last October and he did say that he was going to sort the code on BDK, but then he had had a fair few to drink by then, so who knows?

A little birdie told me at a recent show the next pin would be Deadpool.

To play devil's advocate, I'll just say that professional artists "usually" can tweak/change their style if need be to make the current client happy.

As a Maiden fan, I'm sure the guys in the band have some idea to what they'd love to see put on/in the game and if DD has inDEEd been tapped to answer the Maiden call then I'm sure he's sweating SOME bullets to a degree...

Rigg's iconic Maiden imagery has inspired many a metalhead youth from the 70's and 80's (DD included ) to actually pick up a pencil/pen for the first time during school hours and sketch out the latest Eddie album pose as best they could.

    I know I did.

I'll give DD the benefit of the doubt and trust in that magical feeling he had sketching Eddie all those years ago to make Stern's newest* Iron Maiden machine the best (post 80's) Stern art package to date.

*Yes Stern has already done an "Iron Maiden."
This is the band's machine so no need to remind us about the old one...unless they do a vault edition of that- which undoubtably would be awesome.

    THE GOONIES

    #89 8 years ago

    1. Borg's Areosmith this summer. First SPIKE 2.0 system with LCD display. This was chosen to go first with the new display as a way to boost a somewhat weaker license.

    2. 2016 botique pin.

    3. Ritchie's Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the fall.

    4. Another VE.

I'm bummed Ritchie is making SW

His games are just not my style & he always gimps the Pro too far.

Did his ST ever get finished?

    Quoted from Captain_Kirk:

    3. Ritchie's Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the fall.

While I loved the new Star Wars, there isn't that much new material to make a pin.

With Rogue Squadron coming out this fall, the better Star Wars pin would be based on the old trilogy . Yeah, I know the Data East pin is out there and available, but that never did much for me despite being a big fan of Star Wars. The Sega one is simply bad (in my opinion).

    Quoted from PW79:

I'm bummed Ritchie is making SW

I'm a big fan of Ritchie, but I'd really like to see Borg take a stab at the theme again ... especially after I've developed one hell of a Tron addiction. The Data East release is *almost* something I'd like, but it doesn't have enough for me to own one (felt that way even when you could get them on the cheap ).

    Quoted from PW79:

Did his ST ever get finished?

Yes, for the most part. There's supposed to be one more update to polish things up ... it's a great machine as it is now though. I'm not hyping it up seeing that I have an LE ... it's simply one I cannot play enough (I might trade down the LE though ... still trying to make a decision) . However, if you don't like Ritchie pinball machines, you won't like Star Trek .

    #97 8 years ago

I'd love a My litte Pony pin although I'm sure there'll never be one.

But since we're into Remakes of the 80's I want a(n):

    - Akira

    - Knight Rider

    - Back to the Future (A good one. With Michael J. Fox on it.)

    - Blade Runner

I'd also would like a pin with no license at all. Just some boobs, like the old times. (Star Gazer 2!)

But maybe the try to widen the audience and get mor women into gaming so there could be:

    - Titanic (Hit the ship to sink it)

    - Pretty Woman (Julia Roberts Head swallows them all,... or spits them out.)

This would actually be pretty hilarous! XD

It must be Lonnie, since Lyman is up next with Borg.
