Don't know why I thought about it today, but I started wondering what happened to certain Pinsiders that used to post all the time and are now pretty much MIA. Like VIPERRWK -- wealth of information. I think he's on FB, maybe just got tired of Pinside? Or, anyone remember Kwikimart? He used to comment on nearly everything and hasn't logged in in 4 years. Is he OK? Out of Pinball? I know a lot of people ask me about Black_Rose and he's doing well, still comes to the auctions, occasionally updates Banker's Gameroom thread here. I'm not on here nearly as much as I used to be, but figured I'd throw up a thread for Pinsiders of yesteryear we don't hear from much anymore.

Pinside is changing. Everything has gone to Pinflation now and the good old days of a group that just wants to discuss Pinball is slowly bleeding away. Money infiltration can ruin most anything, even a good conversation...

I disagree. Same as it’s always been. Just more folks. Lots more. Inflation was an issue since 2000 and before that.

Lots of the same folks here from RGP. Others have moved on since this is just a hobby to most but a lifestyle to some I don’t expect permanent residence from anyone.

Only constant in life is change. Amirite?

That's not it. There is another reason people have moved on (I know a few of the "old timers" that used to be a huge asset to this site). But I won't mention the reason since it'll just get people pissed off. In a nutshell: they just don't want to deal with the bullshit.

Too many people calling our beloved pinball
machines “tables” have driven people away.

We all aspire for improvement in our lives. Unfortunately’improvement’ is open for radical interpretation.

I know cuz I’m getting fed up at work after 25 years of trying to improve my dealership.

But the bs here is nothing compared to real life. Sorry they got fed up and quit, but life goes on regardless.

Don’t be so hard on yourself, Boob. I think you’re swell!
