Quoted from cougtv:Vids are heavier. My heaviest is about 1400 lbs, in the basement. Disassembled it into a million pieces to get it down.

If I've told you once, I have told you a million times..... don't exaggerate.
Quoted from MattElder:You got this right! Most people don't ever get the pleasure of moving this particular Spanish widebody, but as you say, it's incredibly heavy. Verne's World is just as bad. I've moved many widebody pins (including WOZ), but damn these two are heavy. The materials they used is where the difference is. They had particle board cabinets, and MDF playfields (with a 1/4" layer of Perspex on top of that!) Both are just loaded with toys/mechs as well. Not fun at all to move.
I have moved about 150 pins in the last 14 years and Jolly Park is a nightmare when it comes to weight and size. when I had mine shipped this summer, the pallet weight was 405lbs. While I would like to bring it to the Midwest Gaming Classic for others to enjoy, I am thinking that just the sheer pain of hauling that beast out will most likely take more newer Sterns to the show.
Staying on topic... the early 80's and the early 90's. All those wide-bodies and the system 3 machines are tanks.
RFM and our EM were heavy and a pain, but Stargate definitely took the prize for heaviest. It's the only one that took a chunk out of my hallway because we couldn't lift/move it like we needed to. So I'll definitely agree it's the System 3s, and I'm sure the widebodies as well. That's one reason I have no desire at all for a WOZ, because I don't think I could even get it in my house between the size and weight.
Quoted from blondetall:So I'll definitely agree it's the System 3s,
i've got three system threes, and moving them around makes me feel like Hercules.
