I never seen this kind of switch used in this fasion.
Not for main power switch off.
As far as I know Gottlieb never did this.
Maybe a hack??

Bally used those white Cherry pull-out switches.

I don't have that switch in my Gottliebs either, mine are early 80's. I think someone installed that, may be it was put on in a setting with kids and they were afraid a child would get in and get lit up.....just a guess.

I own (and have owned) Gottlieb's and neither of them have that kind of switch in them.

Canadian spec requirements.
I have a King Kool that had that switch & the transformer cage. Also worked on a Canadian Card Whiz that had the same. Both had Canadian coin mechs installed. It's been a few years, but I think the info is out there.

Almost all my gottlieb ems have this switch.

1978 Gottlieb parts catalog shows cage, interlock switch, and 3 prong power cord as a kit that was available.

It was available as an optional kit in the USA and standard equipment in Canada.
