Less than three months ago, I sold my "player condition" Shaq Attaq for $2000. Used CL to advertise it, took about a month to sell. The buyer said he remembered playing it as a kid, and always wanted one, and now he could afford one.
A couple months earlier, I paid $450 for it, replaced the clear dome, replaced a few smart switches, replaced a couple dozen bulbs, replaced some stickers, polished the metal, replaced the rubber, cleaned and polished the playfield, and BINGO hello profit! Game played and looked really nice. Cabinet had some wear, as did the playfield, but overall, a great "10 footer".
I find the Gottliebs of this era to be fairly bulletproof, and also a great first platform to learn pinball repair skills.
It honestly was my kid's favorite game. They still complain that I sold it - LOL!
