Great game but the price went stupid. Probably for the CPR run. And they do not seem to come up as often as the used to.

You are getting a cabinet, backglass and unknown boardset? Is the playfield wear alright enough to keep if you get it running and how do the boards look?

If this is a total unknown I personally would be around $400-$500 but I will bet others come back with a $700-$800 number (or more).

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

I don't think that's too realistic. I'd expect even a worn playfield project centaur to be at least $1500.

I figured. But that is crazy to me. These used to be real reasonable.

Are there even boards in it? Is the playfield bare wood? Like I said, this might be a cabinet and backglass from what he has said. And the cabinet might be trash, waterlogged or mouse house.

If someone called me with the description he gave saying "I'm at a yard sale and I'll grab it for you, this is what I see" I'd say a few hundred unless I could see it myself.

Quoted from tomdrum:

Playfield is 90% there. A typical well played Centaur. Complete and untouched. Not working.

Friend sale, word of mouth or did they put a price on it?

Your new description brings it closer to that $1K mark for me. But Levi is probably right on what people would pay if they saw it on Craigslist. It would be gone in an hour with someone offering $1,500.

Quoted from tomdrum:

Upcoming estate sale. Trying to buy before it hits the auction block.

Good luck. Are you asking them what they want or making an offer?

In my area Estate Sale jack everything up 3 to 4 times value. This way when they donate or trash the item the people running the sale document the outrageous value as a loss so they can write it off.

Still confuses me the price jump. While it is a classic old Bally and IPB had the playfields hanging around for years the price stayed stable. Then CPR did a run (and re-run) and the price went crazy.
