Genuine question: if you got rid of all your pinball machines, what would you do with all the newly created space from these behemoths that we collect?!

    #2 4 months ago

    Buy more pinballs

    Hmmm....VR room/space?

Finish my basement and have a full bar setup like every other boring person on earth.

You couldn't do anything. You'd be in a straight jacket locked in a rubber room drooling on yourself.

    Insane people are locked up.

    LTG : )

I’d probably feel sellers remorse and buy more pins.

I sold a pin in the morning and when I got home in the evening this was what I saw. Lesson learned. You can’t leave any empty space in your game room.

    Question does not compute.

The only reason that I sell is that I already have that space filled with a different one.

this is something my wife would do

    Move the bodies

    #12 4 months ago

I would move my furniture back into the house!

Park a motorcycle there until the next game "magically" arrives.

Age more quickly, become (more) boring, maybe receive a notice of divorce (my wife considers three of the pins, "hers", and the rest, "ours").

    or...
put in more arcades, classic coinops, jukebox, linked racers, ball bowler,...stuff that non-pinhead visitors actually want to play

    Where from?
    Beneath the floorboards?
    Where to?

Yeah it would be,tight but jamming a Street Glide in there would do the trick!

I'd probably turn the space into a nice home theater with a large screen, nice lighting, surround sound and comfy recliners.

Either that, or use it as a place to hang clothes.

No plans to sell off the games anytime soon, though.

A giant aquarium or two or three

    #20 4 months ago

No idea what to do with the extra space.

Just purchased a game yesterday before I sold one. Don't know what it's like to have room.

I've often thought about this and I really have no idea. Might as well leave it like it is as I can't think of anything cooler at this point.

    I see your Bourbon!

Great move buying a new pin before you sell the other pin!

Lol you had two open spots and jammed a car in there. Pro move!

Get the pool table and air hockey back.
    Get bored with those.
    Go back to pins.

That's only a 5th of it. "pun intended".

Have had the same 7 pins in my crackerbox house and haven't bought another game in many years, but if I did sell I'd only sell one and then start hunting for a game on my very short want list.
