Curious to know how pinsiders would use the proposed $1,000 to help them through the current crisis?

    #2 4 years ago

Pinball savings or laser hair removal. It comes back after 10 years or so.

    #3 4 years ago

    Pinball parts.

Try using a soldering iron on the stubborn hairs. Worked wonders on my finger

Probably use it as a down payment.

Stuff it up his ____. I can't stand him. He has two faces and both of them lie

    #7 4 years ago

The problem is during a crisis like this i’d probably save it or pay off some debt.

Now if it was $5600 I’d buy a new Stern with it

    #8 4 years ago

Too bad I'm in Canada and therefore wouldn't qualify for it, otherwise I could use it to buy a 12 pack of toilet paper and perhaps have enough $$ left over for one small bottle of hand sanitizer.

That’ll get ya there and back. She got the Jack

I’d probably spend most of it on places hardest hit by this, play a ton of location pinball.

    #11 4 years ago

Typical American government response...keep printing and throwing money at it. That’ll fix it!

In six months, this will get you a loaf of bread and a package of toilet paper:

I thought this was a joke but after 8 years it’s been proven this is really how he talks...

Take my wife's $1000 and buy a pin.

    #14 4 years ago

According to the article, one guy states another $1000 a month later! Times 2, getting close to the value of what pins will be in a couple of months

    #15 4 years ago

Save it for next years taxes when 'they' will expect it back.
It will be called a temporary refund adjustment:

    Don't they all...

    #18 4 years ago

Give it right back as part of the $6k per quarter in estimated taxes I pay as part of my side hustle. It sucks that when you work so hard to get ahead in the world, 40 cents of every dollar in self employed income goes to the government.

Seems like, if you were, say, a restaurant employee living paycheck to paycheck, just starting out and all restaurants closed, $1000 or $1000/month until stuff opened again might literally save your life.

What should the government do when the economy collapsed partially due to their bungled response to a virus? Leave all wage earners to rot? Have to do something.

    #20 4 years ago

    Pay rent.

    #21 4 years ago

Subsidize the income my household is losing since my wife's work closed and she doesn't get sick / vacation time.

Naw, they will get $4K per.

    #24 4 years ago

If we are getting a thousand wonder what Mitt is getting...……….

    #25 4 years ago

Rip it up because otherwise I’m a bad socialist.

They will most likely put an income cap on those that receive it, $50-75k

    Good point!

Glad to see that they are putting all that political ad revenue to good use finally

Yeah! All those owners of State shuttered Businesses should suffer.

Who are they to provide employment and create wealth where there was none, before?

    How. Dare. They.

    #35 4 years ago

    Hookers

    #36 4 years ago

    This guy gets Stimulus.

    #37 4 years ago

Screw Mitt Romney. That sack of shi* should have stayed under whatever rock he was hiding under. At one time I was under the impression that he had some sort of scruples. I was mistaken.

    #39 4 years ago

If he helps pay my rent the next few months... I'll gladly screw him!

Just make sure they have proof of negative COVID-19 test
