I had been an EM collector back in the 70"s and 80's only to get out until the late 90's. I used the internet then to research pins and there is where I first heard of the Shadow as a very highly rated pin over in Europe and re started my collection. The internet has made it very easy to find pins, parts and repair techniques. While I believe that websites such as pinside have helped the inflation of pin prices it has also raised the consciousness of many people to the hobby, thus improving the overall aspects of pin collecting.
