I am currently using the Deadworld mod ring and the L1AT ROM I purchased from Pinbits a few years ago. After some initial problems with optos I go everything sorted out and working with the ring and the crane.

However I do miss some of the bug fixes of the L7 ROM, which I still have.

What will happen exactly if I put the L7 ROM back into the machine with the modded Deadworld ring still on the table?

So to update everyone, I put my L7 ROM in my Deadworld-modded ring Judge Dredd and a few things happened (mostly good!)

- the ball travel was a lot more smooth, the shooter logic for all the solenoids was a lot more crisp
- no more overlapping audio sounds, I use a Pinsound and on L1AT ROM I had a lot of overlapping voices, none on L7
- No credit dot errors! I think this only applies if you have a prototype machine
- I can now put the machine on coin play (on L1AT its free play only!)
- and the biggest change is that yes, the first two ball locks are virtual and the third gets picked up by the crane while the right shooter pumps out three balls, this was the only thing I didn't like about the game but it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would

I know this is harder said than done, but if somebody was able to make an L7 ROM with the ability to lock all three balls with the modded Deadworld ring, this game would be solid 8/10 for me I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Does anyone know if anyone has cracked the WPC code yet???
