More of a wishlist theme, but it'd be cool to see a pin based off Christine. There could be two headlights that shine right at you at key moments, and a shaker+bass for the revving, and a regenerating bash toy, plus that rad Carpenter soundtrack and all the doo-wop tracks...

How about an ABBA pin? Kitsch is in, right?

How about Uncharted pinball? A good license, might bring crossover from video gamers, lots of options for modes, and plenty of humor and characters. Plus, all the voice actors are still alive!

How about an Arcade Fire machine, then? An Avalanches pin? Vaporwave?

edit: wtf Nicki Minaj owns, I'd play the heck out of a Nicki Minaj pin (maybe a ladies of pop pin? Minaj, Grimes, MIA...)

#122 3 years ago

Haha, well then a Slayer pin for you and an Arcade Fire pin for me!

edit: there's so many movies coming out this year that could make reasonably good pins. Now You See Me - magic trick toys on the playfield, the ball disappearing and reappearing, plus a heist theme?

Gamers tend to have lots of spendable money and cling fiercely to titles and IPs, so you bet your bippy there'd be a herd of people in their twenties and thirties desperately forking over their tech dollars for a video game pin.

Let's get really retro and make a Gilgamesh pin

It could be delivered in a box marked "fragilé".

I won't say that anyone should be paying $8k for a pinball machine to begin with, but Dialed In is absolutely the most jam-packed and solidly-built $8k pinball machine out there.

Quoted from Who-Dey:

More jam packed than WOF?

Find me the ripoff artist who's selling a WOF for $8k!

Quoted from John_I:

DI may win easily on weight, but IMHO for $5000-8000 Aerosmith kicks its butt in every other category including fun to play, bang for the buck, artwork, theme, sound, dots, etc.

Man, idk. AS shoots pretty nicely for a Stern but DI really comes together as a package and it plays like butter. I would like the theme to take a more menacing bent, they have some fun opportunities with the evil corporation but right now it's kind of in the background. I'm not big fan of Aerosmith though so I'm coming at both themes from a pretty neutral place.

Quoted from zr11990:

I gotta ask. What is a trunchbull?

She's the evil headmistress in Roald Dahl's Matilda:
