Supposedly it’s a Lawlor thing with the double outlane on either the left or right side. If you watch the SDTM episode for wonka you will hear him say a lot of other designers borrowed the idea from him. “Often copied, never duplicated”. Starts around the 6:10 mark….
Think there is an interview out there with Keith Johnson claiming they tried to get GTA back in the day @ stern and there was no interest from take 2 or Rockstar. I think a jjp super Mario world with Eric on design would be amazing. Age old premise of save the princess would work for pinball quite well in my opinion. Only other game that kinda makes sense is mortal kombat, but with Steve leaving I doubt we will ever see it. Zeppelin combo system/rule set actually lends itself perfectly to this style of gameplay. Blood code entered with the flippers before the game starts….test your might bash toy….even online head to head would make sense with this theme. Finish your shots before the other player to win. Fatality hurry ups for finishing moves. One can dream

Would love to see home alone, lampoons Xmas vacation, or elf. All of those movies have perfect moments built into them that lend themselves to pinball.
