Quoted from Blacksun:I have to say if they re-release Tron I will not be buying anymore new Stern machines. ever....
I think you should sell your Tron because you are into pinball for the wrong reason.

Quoted from doublestack:100% agree with Rob here. Attitudes like this are what turn people off from the hobby. Pinball is taking a wrong turn when an arcade machine is seen as an investment. When people feel slighted because others now get to experience a game like tron, and now their pristine wooden box is worth a few dollars less.... That's just sad.
Even if remakes are made, it's not like the value of the original is going to drop by 50% overnight. I think IMVE was probably a good success for Stern and it allowed alot of others to get a chance to own this wonderful game. VE or not, many games hold value well and that's pretty darn good!

Quoted from shaub:I don't really see the benefit to a 2 inlane on one side design. I would have thought its purpose would be to make that side MORE safe, not less. Though I guess maybe the design isn't really about adding the inlane, but rather positioning the slingshots closer together?
The 2 left inlane design moves the flippers to the right by about 3/4 inch (or is it 1 inch?) This actually centers the flippers on the player instead of the apron. Of course this also changes the shot geometry of the game and just looking at my Metallica and TMNT, allows for an uncomplicated extra shot on the left side (including a standup target).

Quoted from gamera9:I think you play as Godzilla. Stomp Tokyo or save it, your choice.
Stomping sounds fun. I'll maybe save it later!

I hope music from Grace Under Pressure makes it into the game.

Quoted from beelzeboob:I think the last SW is a REALLY good game...it's just really freaking hard.
There were too many things I disliked about that game compared to what I liked. Those 4th mission multiballs are difficult and I thought the victory multiball music was absolutely atrocious. It wasn't the game many of us were hoping for. I could still look past many things, but the lackluster hyperloop rules I just cannot.
