Quoted from ZappaMan:

'Hogan's Heroes Pinball' with sound bytes including: (Col.Klink) -"Schuuuuuuultzzz!", (Sgt. Schultz)-"I see nothing I hear nothing I know nothing! ", (Col. Klink) -"HOGAAAAN!" (Col. Klink)-"No prisoner escapes from Stalag Thirteen!" (Col. Klink)-"Tell me Schultz, which Colonel is running this camp, Hogan or me? I sometimes wonder" (Maj. Hochstetter) -VWHAT IS THIS MAN DOING HERE! (Col. Klink) -"DISSSSMISSED!" (Col. Crittendon)- "No need to worry I have a photographic memory my mind is like a camera" and so on...

As much as us TV nostalgia nerds would love it, today's cancel culture would never let it happen.

Quoted from bigguybbr:

Just watched MoM. Love when Sam Raime throws in a Bruce Campbel cameo. So good The movie has a lot of evil dead vibes which makes it a lot of fun.

Did you know the two were high school classmates? I went to the high school they graduated from (granted, it was a decade later) - but Evil Dead 2 came out just before my graduation and it was a huge thing there....

Quoted from RA77:

Wow 25 years on
Enough brand recognition for TFE to be a huge title for pinball ? I think so.
Callouts from original stars of the movie would be awesome !
So many possibilities for layout and gameplay, The movie has all The Elements that could make a super cool, fun pin from Stern.
[quoted image]

It wouldn't have any custom callouts by Bruce Willis anymore, unfortunately...

Quoted from PinStalker:

I think he is just retired from acting. He could still do voiceover work with his (hopefully mild) dementia. An afternoon or two reading lines isn't that taxing and actually would be good for his condition and mental health. The worst thing you can do is nothing when you have mental health issues. Gotta stay engaged, active and feel like you're useful/productive.

Reportedly, Bruce is suffering from Wernicke's aphasia. It involves difficulty understanding spoken or written language.

I happened to bump into Jack Danger on Saturday at a comic book store - I told him my dream theme pin was BTTF. His only response was,"I can't say anything about that..." No surprise there, but I can hope/dream that the lack of a "no" means it could still happen. LOL

That my dream, let me live it...

Quoted from Vecna:

Your answer was not phrased in the form of a question.

But....the original post posed it as a question, not like an answer, so the answer didn't need to be phrased as a question, because his response was the answer to the question. LOL

Quoted from Prince66cali:

AIDS was early 90s

The first cases of what would later become known as AIDS were reported in the United States (U.S.) in June of 1981

In Chicago we had the Gigglesnort Hotel. (And HR Puffinstuff)

Quoted from bicyclenut:

You're joking right?

As stated multiple times in this thread, pinball machines are not the only thing where prices have jumped. Those aren't even the 'best' seats at that price. If I had to guess, I would guess beltking is in the balcony for a non-weekend and/or a matinee show.

Quoted from TechnicalSteam:

The holy grail of all themes and licensing would be Monty Python Pin.
Imagine the attract sounds, cabinet art, mechs and modes. Only Stern could do this justice.
I'd totally do the Homebrew IF I could get my grimy fingers on some the new FAST node based boards
and a little help from some friends.

or [quoted image]

A Monty Python pin would be awesome, or even just MPatHG/Spamalot...

Quoted from TreyBo69:

Speaking of a Christmas Story, I was blown away by how much I liked the new one.

Agreed - it had a good amount of scenes with homages to the original, and the same overall feel. Was fun seeing how many of the original cast were back reprising their roles.

My wife, who liked the original, but was unsure about the sequel said I could watch it and she'd "go to bed soon". Well, an hour into it she asked me to pause it as she was really enjoying it and needed a quick bio-break. I'll consider that a win.

This may have a ray of hope, or maybe just fan-boi wishful thinking....

Later,
EV

EV, I think your fan-boi mind missed the final paragraph....

"Answering this question and others would only be the tip of the iceberg, were Disney to actively pursue a deal with Warner Bros. to buy Harry Potter. Long before those questions are asked, we need to ask whether Harry Potter is the right intellectual property for Disney–and whether this satirical trip down imagination lane could ever have any merit to it."

Note the final section after the hyphen...
