This one is more off topic, but Altered Carbon was a great Netflix show as well.
First season was exceptional, second not so much.

Quoted from Rarehero:Stop. Use the internets.
They’ll retheme it as Vegemite & Kangaroos for them. Every home in Canada will buy Rush.
There are a lot of us Aussie who can't stand the taste of Vegemite, Kangaroo on the other hand, yum.
On topic though do like the look of the Mandalorian and hope it shoots well and code is on the money.
Quoted from mbeardsley:Of course, nothing beats fried Wombat...
Deep fried platypus comes pretty close
Quoted from Our_Man_in_Oz:Who knows a few interest rate rises could quickly put an end to what we're seeing at moment though here.
That would certainly sharpen alot up. There was some mention on the mainstream media last night about interest rates rising.
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:My two favorite Stern games were back to back.
[quoted image]
Me too
Sorry about the shit pic
Quoted from Grantman:The Nielsen numbers for most streamed TV shows of 2022 came out. I think updating the Stranger Things pinball is a no-brainer. Also, how about Seinfeld? A comedy from Stern would be a new and welcome direction.
[quoted image]
Can't wait for the NCIS pin
Quoted from NoSkills:Finally! in stock stuff again would be awesome and bring used prices back to normality!
Quoted from Grantman:I'm trying to plan out my expenses. How many of these games do you think will get made by 2025?
1) Indiana Jones/Raiders of the Lost Ark
2) Back to the Future
3) Stranger Things vault or whatever
4) Big Bang Bar remake (at least officially announced)
None,
Quoted from Gubbin:I'm not really a Jaws fan and have pretty much no interest in that theme. However, I never really cared for Godzilla and now going through all the old flicks with my wife.. I've also added Iron Maiden to my playlists because of Pinball. I'm keeping an open mind on the future.
Same here couldn't have given 2 shitz for Godzilla but man that game rocks. Maiden was a no brainer for me and as far as Jaws the movie, meh. I am over 50 and have seen them all as a young bloke and appreciate it's place in movie culture but I couldn't bring myself to watch it again. I reckon if the Elwin team is on it as rumoured it will be a winner and Stern will have another runaway train.
Quoted from crujones4life:Wow...I wonder how many people have me blocked? That would be an interesting stat...lol. Again I understand why, Hell I even suggested people do it.
Edit - actually can I see how many people have me blocked somewhere? I'm curious now.
Love your enthusiasm and hope you get your dream theme.
I was about to say "Muse" who the f#@k are they? Then I listened to Uprising on Spotify and went ok heard that song many a time, their others not so much if at all. At least I can listen to them, Rush on the other hand, no thanks, good music but that vocalist jeez.
Just watched a few minutes of the Jack Danger stream. The game is fast and does look like alot of fun to shoot. The rules seem interesting and must admit didn't think I would be this interested Venom. Looking forward to watching the whole stream tonight.
Quoted from Pinplayer1967:No grown ass man is lining up to play Pokémon.
Seriously, have you seen the way "grown ass men" carry on with the toys that they put into their games. Good on them, not for me though.
If the game plays well it will sell.
Quoted from frankmac:Looks Legit. Good music, sounds and a good city. We will see.
He'll yeah, hopefully they can regain some respect to the IP.
Quoted from MacGruber:I think you missed one, the last film was amazing!
I did mate, bummed with the chick flick and never watched the last one. I'll give it look, thanks.
Was just listening to a podcast and they mentioned that The Pinball Brothers lowered the price of their latest Alien version. Not sure how true that is but that's a step in the right direction for buyers.
Quoted from Rarehero:Every Canadian is born loving Rush. Geddy Lee sings to every newborn baby so his angelic voice is imprinted on their innocent ears. Any Canadian admitting to disliking Rush is immediately farted on by Terrence & Phillip until they repent.
I am a Canada expert, thank you for bearing witness to these facts.
Angelic voice, that's some funny shit right there.
Quoted from Rizmo:You wonder why Stern, JJP, Spooky and others didn’t get the license. I heard it’s because for BTTF they can’t use the characters likenesses so no Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Thomas Wilson. Pretty much what the pin from the 80s used. Characters that wore the same cloths and had same characteristics but def not them. How many people would buy a BTTF pin if it didn’t have them? It would be like what they did with JP have none of the characters all generic stuff
If trying to get the License was anything like this no wonder they never went for it.
Quoted from PinMonk:This solitary line in black and white will be my next T-shirt.
Easy on the "Black and White", Collingwood2010 may get excited
Quoted from Gubbin:I 100% bought a DP because of JD's streams. I was a late comer to his show but he was a master of demonstrating skill and still engaging chat. Totally agree with your comment.
Ditto,
Quoted from Kkoss24:Hey Stern, do you really like money? Prove it!!
[quoted image][quoted image]
He'll yeah, LE all the way. Everybody wants some
Quoted from Prince66cali:Marvel is so bad at this point. Sh$t, I can still hear, "Choose your host, change the game" in my head. I had a deposit on that game after the Cary Hardy skit and pulled it when I saw the release. Stern has gone in the wrong direction. But at the same time, whos still buying pinball machines in 2024?
I just played this game amongst others including Bond and EHOH and a host of others. Found Venom and Bond way more fun than EHOH and glad I never went through with a NIB last year. Realised that you never really know how much you will enjoy a game or not until you actually play it for yourself. Rush was also good fun.
I have no interest in Pokemon just as I had no interest in Godzilla. I own a Godzilla premium cos I love the way it plays and shoots and if a Pokemon pin played and shot well, shit I reckon I'd probably own one too.
Plenty of folk out there with a Iron Maiden that don't particularly like the band and their music.
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:Well, I didn't "shit on it" but ok. Still, no way it sells 1000 LEs at $13k. That's all I'm sayin'. Glad you're looking forward to it, and I hope you enjoy it if it's the next release.
Maybe Stern only put 500 LEs, more chance to sell out.
