Quoted from gliebig:Down to Flip?
Very Close I enjoy both but one more than the other.
Quoted from Psw757:$8299?
Yeah I got the same number from my guy. Must be an amazing pin
Beating a dead horse.
this thread is on loop
hate on stern for heavy metal
explain that stern built for a client
argue price
repeat
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:And Stern games are actually playable in the wild. I never see Spooky, American or Jersey Jack games but in collectors houses.
Some CGC and older Bally/Williams (getting rarer) on location but Stern are obviously more prevelant on location than anything. I like whoever puts a pinball machine somewhere I can play it
Bar by me has/had 6 new sterns, a WOZ and an Oktoberfest on the floor. Before the shutdown
I NEED to know what's next. I want turtles but I honestly think there are some great pins coming.
Zep is not for me.
Jack Danger has stated that he has proposed designs/ideas to stern but thats all he has said
Jacks gots some crazy ingenuity and design skills.
If one of his gets built im in for sure.
Quoted from Utesichiban:So when will Stern start making these? Has their line even reopened?
when stranger things released they had pros on location next day or two if i remember correctly. Now I'm sure Covid delayed it but its quite possible they are running.
Quoted from J85M:Ritchie with Zep
Edwin with BTTF
Eddy with Godzilla
That’s what’s been posted in other threads and forums but who knows for certain either way theres always something for everyone coming from Stern!
If Elwin is making BTTF take my money now
Quoted from Lounge:I don’t think a Converse pinball machine would sell very well
No its a "Converse & Cash"
Quoted from crujones4life:Heavy Metal?
I hope not.
Hoping for Elwins new pin, or a Jack Danger origional, either one Im in
I said Jack was streaming a new pin, then later found out it was hotwheels, Never said it was by stern. End of discussion
Quoted from evh347:My fingers are crossed for a different Universal Studios license.....BTTF please! Even if its not all three movies...if it used TellTale Game's graphics and was as focused as JP...it would be incredible.
I already have my topper.[quoted image]
Fingers crossed here for the same. Sweet topper
Quoted from J85M:Stern where playing around with Limited Editions/Premiums for years, LOTR, Spider-Man Black, didn’t Elvis have a limited edition version? Tron, Avatar was still Stern dipping its toes in the collectors pool. Transformers was a big push from Stern to move into the collectors tiers.
I could be wrong but it wasn’t until Stern hired John Buscaglia and he brought his knowledge and experience from the trading card business and TOPPS that the Pro/Premium/LE tiers where an official thing and they targeted the collectors market big time!
There is an Elvis at my local pub cant remember what the trim level is called thought it was limited, it has the brass trim instead of black texture
Quoted from wontwa:Ooof. I have a deposit down on a Maiden Premium that's supposed to be built this month, but have held off paying entirely for fear of something like this happening.
Id try to find a Nice low mileage one local,
I'm likely in the minority but I do enjoy an upper or lower PF with 1 or 2 flippers. If something came out with 3 levels like Jaws with underwater lower PF and a Boat level upper PF where main level is ocean level id be in. Also still expecting to see a DeadFlip designed pin in the next year so I will be holding out for those 2 options. Theme is secondary for me as long as the game flows well and isn't a drain monster.
Quoted from PinMonk:I'd want a normal size lower playfield with full size pinballs (something like KRULL or Black Hole, etc), not those weird physics bb pinballs.
Yes fullsize lower would be amazing.
Quoted from Diamond:Jack Osborne was seen checking into a hotel near the Chicago Mag mile last night. What if Zeppelin has been code for an Ozzy Osborne pin this entire time?
I could get onboard with that.
Quoted from newpinbin:So much for paying for the "STERN INSIDER ALL-ACCESS."
I still have my shirt in the bag. just got billed for year 2.....
Has anyone done the deep dive on the Stern website code like they did for Deeproots website?
Im guessing Stern knows better but, stuff gets missed.
Watching deadflip stream now, he said tomorrow is going to be a good day.
My guess new code drops for games, but hoping for more.
Quoted from Roostking:Dont lose faith, I still have my Metallica posters and many picture discs from 85, and 30 years later, a pin joined em!
[quoted image]
And a banshee in your game room!!!!!!
I have a ysr50 in mine
Quoted from cooked71:Have u played JP, AIQ or IMDN? Those make DP, or any recent layout for that matter, seem pedestrian.
Owned all 3 of those sold AIQ after 2 weeks Sold JP after a few months Still have IMDN and no plans to sell DP
Quoted from Yoko2una:Really? I find watching Carol pick Blueberries for an hour riveting television!
Almost as interesting as the wood and coal on Oak Island
Quoted from Lounge:Hmm.... Oak Island pin - you start out with a ton of points that count down as you play and you never find a jackpot.
The goal is to spend as much time and money and score as little points as possible.
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:Stern teases like crap.
What is this? A new vagina monster?
[quoted image][quoted image]
That's what I see
Quoted from crujones4life:https://vocaroo.com/1j1byFeX9Vab (The Pinball Show Podcast)
Taken from a BTTF hype thread. It's coming! Elwin's BTTF August 2022!
[quoted image]
BTTF with Elwin in SLE would be amazing, no way I would be able to justify one.
Quoted from jawjaw:Why is it hard to understand? Music is art and art is subjective. I could just as easily say you should love my favorite band because I think they are great. I just don't understand why only old, classic rock gets to be a pin.
I was listening to a podcast this weekend, I cant remember which one but they went over popular genres by age. Rock is way up there and really seems to cover most age groups.
I think it was Triple Drain.
The chart is interactive and will show breakdown by age group.

Quoted from lowbeau67:yeah wtf not everyone on here is freaking loaded. i work hard but dam they are gonna price a lot of people out.
it took me awhile to buy and sell and refurbish and sell to get the games i have now.
alien coming tomorrow and i didnt have to sell my sw comic pro to get.
the old 5600 7200 for pro and premium seemed fair to me.
ill guess ill just keep getting older games which i love.
but dam i want a thunderball sean connery james bond pin. how bad ass would that be to
have in your lineup?
just ranting. cant wait to see it.
I'm backing out now as well. Only way I'll drop for a NIB is awesome layout and theme that I like.
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:Bummed about the price increase? Put your games on location. They pay for themselves. Problem solved.
I'd love to do that but the market by me has so many operators that are great people I won't step on toes.
Quoted from Meadows22:So I found this interesting. I was working on my Jurassic park Premium today and just noticed this. My JP is a 2022 build and I recall some noise on a jaws pin, but who knows anyone have a JP playfield from this year to confirm.
[quoted image]
JP code name was Jaws.
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/record-of-stern-code-names-for-games
Hoping to see one more before the end of the year. I think Eddy, Danger, Borg then Elwin is the release schedule. Gut instinct alone, also the last call for "pin" line has me thinking.
Quoted from crujones4life:Watcha thinking brother? Talk to me.
I have zero inside information. I hear what everyone else hears. I'm just going off designer rotation.
Quoted from JimB:Night at the Roxberry is the best and would have a lot of video that would be perfect on a pinball.

[quoted image]
Great movie back in the day.
Quoted from J85M:I heard the foo fighters rumours a while back, not sure it’s a great use of ZY if true but I’m pretty excited to see Venom if true so if the other release this year is something like foo fighters that’s an easy pass for me which helps the old wallet!
I'm with you Zombie Yeti on a Music Pin doesn't line up. I would lean more towards 80s with JD like Heman.
Quoted from bigguybbr:That layout looks killer. The art is sick. Did you see that there are even targets in the outlanes to shatz? That lower van shot turn around ramp is going to be lightning quick. DeadFlip came out swinging on his first cornerstone.
Why did I just buy a new machine
[quoted image]
The SHATZ targets are genius, and I really like the captive ball loop mech.
All I did was chuckle when that email came in from Stern. Im curious to see what they do though. Doubt I could justify the price.
Quoted from pinmister:Come to think of it-I will be sitting on the sidelines the entire year of 2024
I am interested in TCM, Looney Tunes, JAWS, and Harry Potter(if Steve does it justice-no more rehashed crap). I do not anticipate these titles jumping in valuation anytime soon and makes me think what is the hurry? I do not need to be the first to own one and feel I can pick one up later at a better value on secondary market. So many options out there-that FOMO has gone out the window.
FOMO is completely gone for me too. Id rather save a few grand and be 2 years behind.
Quoted from SimplePin:If we are talking Spike2 remakes I'll take a B/W Munsters Premium.
Munsters is my biggest regret on selling. Had Premium Color was my first NIB ever.
