Quoted from John_I:

There are also rumors of another small run of Jurassic Park Premium coming? I missed the last run. I'd like to buy one, but in no hurry. I want NIB and from one of these latest runs.

My understanding from my distributer is that the next run of premiums was supposed to be ready this month (July). I've had my JP Premium on order since May so I certainly hope to see it ship soon.

A retheme of Stranger Things could easily work. Pink Floyd has long been known for their creative use of video & multimedia in their stage shows. Some of that licensed video from Pink Floyd playing on the center playfield screen would be killer. A special "Dark Side of the Moon" mode could drop the screen, revealing an awesome crystal prism. With creative optics, a stationary white light could shine into the prism where that light is broken up into its elementary colors which are then projected elsewhere onto the playfield. I'd go so far as making the prism 'spinnable' so the color beams are projected to different targets on the playfield to indicate skill shots to make.

The amount of video and audio material from Pink Floyd is just overwhelming and would just fill a well-designed game.

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

Thoughts of seeing on upper playfield again or a lower for Jaws?

My immediate thought is the boat "Orca" as an upper playfield, not unlike what's on Pirates of the Caribbean.

I hope we do see a Jaws pin. Not to date myself, but my very first job was as an usher at my local cinema house when Jaws came out. No exaggeration, I've probably seen the movie 100 times, at the very least. It's almost a part of my DNA.

Quoted from pinmister:

So wondering who is up next in line up? Would make sense for Eddy with Venom before Borg with Tron. Next year Jaws and? How about Van Halen, Jaws and King Kong for 2024? Followed by BTTF, Harry Potter and Pink Floyd for 2025?

A Floyd pin will never happen. Licensing would be a nightmare and I doubt Roger Waters would ever go for it.

Was there ever a Smokey and the Bandit pin, based on the 1977 movie?

Quoted from herbertbsharp:

I just want a big bloody rubber shark head with an open mouth you shoot the balls into in order to kill it

Step 1: Battle to get the mouth of the shark open.
Step 2: Shoot a ball into the shark's mouth where it is held via magnet. Think of this captive ball as the high-pressure air tank in the movie.
Step 3: Shoot and hit the captive ball, thereby "exploding" the tank and killing the shark.

Just some thoughts.

I'm so looking forward to this machine.

Quoted from mdeslaur:

Stern should just make a generic "70s and 80s rock oldies" cabinet with a built in 8-track player and you folks can make it play whatever old crap you want while you're playing.

And make sure the tunes have the sound drop out mid song right before the player has to go to the next channel.
