Quoted from PinMonk:

I go there so you don't have to.
But it was clearly a joke, because I can't imagine Trudeau making another Stern or any other manufacturer pin, period, after all this (although deeproot would be darkly ironic). He's out of jail in only 7 more days, finishing one of the lightest child porn/pedo sentences (there were two cases) I've ever heard of, but he's effectively involuntarily retired.

got a news clip of this, hard to believe he would be released already, hell...… whats it been,2- 3 yrs????

Quoted from mpdpvdpin:

Neil Pert wishes he was Billy Cobham. Every prog drummer does. Guy is a f’n monster. And even he ain’t the best. Elvin Jones and Tony Williams are the real bosses.

Ridiculous chops here. First 30 seconds are like a master class.

Pert always sounded a bit soulless to me. Like, ok…you’re good at odd time signatures and sub divisions…so what? Math is for nerds.

this guy aint a pimple on perts ass. and honestly you don't have a clue about drummers.

#23783 2 years ago
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:

Lol, you obviously don’t know squat about drumming. You wanna listen to the Canadian white guy in a kufi hat play in 12/8 or the guys that invented the shit? Pert is a student, these cats are the teachers. Pert is obviously a terrific drummer but he is far from the best. That’s not an opinion.

never said he was the best, but easily top 5. i promise you pert was far more of a teacher than these guys you posted ever was. Much bigger fanbase. you think the 30,40, and 50 yr olds of today weren't influenced by him and tried to copy him, you're nuts.

I’ve posted a screenshot of your comment in a drummers forum I’m part of and they are laughing your ass out of the room fyi

thats good, because they are laughing their asses off at you on here!

A Stern Powell Peralta Bones Brigade themed pin would be awesome. Been too long since Radical.

Quoted from PanzerKraken:

Think they deserve some kudos for just putting out more pros and prem and not upcharging for it. They easily could have pumped out some special pricing on these and folks would have been paying, but to simply rerun the game at the base current prices is really nice.

they got you right where they want you, you are paying a big increase over what they originally were.

I would bet there is more Rush machines here in America. Not everyone from Canada automatically likes Rush.

no, not everyone...........but prob 30% of them do, they have a day dedicated to them.

They do? Which one?</

The Simpsons should get another pin. The love for that franchise is universal.

but they have a good pin out for them, i think they owe us a south park game that ain't a turd.

Stop being a dick tease on BTTF

All day, every day, and twice on Sunday.

don't understand the throbbing erection for a very mediocre film from the 80's that you guys seem to spank too

#43065 4 months ago
Quoted from Molon_Labe:

It's a classic from the summer of '85 that was a huge hit and a large part of pop culture at the time. The theme song climbed the charts, skateboarding was in full swing, and it was just a fun time to be a teenager. It was the highest grossing franchise of the year. If you weren't there, I wouldn't expect that you would understand if you're judging it by the movie alone decades later. I am sure there are cinematic movies or bands that captured a similar experience or time from your youth. Make no mistake, they are catering to a specific demographic's youth. And yes, there are enough of us that it would be a great seller unless Stern screws the pooch on execution.

i was there, and skateboarding was not in full swing at all. it was basically underground at this time. i seen the movie at the theater, nothing special about it. yeah it was fun, quirky, entertaining....but these guys act like it was the best thing they have ever watched. i guess some people hold nastalgia a little more dear than others.

Quoted from Sinistarrett:

Green Day, Offspring, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam. For me, the grand slam of the shittiest bands of the 1990s, if not all eras of music. I loathe them all forever. I know they all get airplay because they come on the radio all the effing time but that only makes them suck even more.

rhcp is not a 90's band.

Quoted from PinMonk:

Stern also vigorously denied IN PRINT that Stranger Things was being re-run about 6 months before it was, at a point when it had to be well underway internally. There are many examples of Stern misdirection and outright denials of stuff that was definitely in the works and came out later. The DMD remake rumors have been going around for a LONG time, and the Metallica Spike3 is very specific, so it seems like we're about to see the first remake unless something unexpected (aka Pandemic redux) happens.
They've done this before, and for good reason. They clearly understand the Osborne effect and want to keep people focused on buying what's for sale NOW, not what's coming in a few months or a year.

didn't he put out a video that def said they were rerunning stranger things about 5/6 months ahead too

…..and Pink Floyd sucks!

david gilmore/roger waters has more talent in their pinky than sublime has in the whole band

Quoted from badfish981:

That’s why there is so much variety of music out there. Personally I think Brad Nowell of sublime was extremely gifted and opened the door of west coast reggae to my punk roots.
Pink Floyd was just not my thing…..but I don’t think sublime would work in pinball either.
Tony hawk with some punk & ska tunes…..now that would work

tony hawk pin would rock.
