I've been thinking Blade Runner would be a great world under glass table with its cityscape, distinct style, neon lights and soundscape. I think there's even game mode potential as an investigation into replicant suspects or an alternative be a replicant and escape. And I am not even a huge fan of the movie.

I also really like the potential of a Scooby Doo table mentioned earlier. I think TMNT's art style on the cabinet would look excellent with Scooby's characters and stuff.

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

Far from a D- and fan ratings do not go along with your assessment. Fan score on Rotten Tomatoes is 92% and 75% by critics. It also had the largest audience on HBO max also. Not sure what you were expecting. Was it a perfect movie, no, but at least it wasn’t a woke mess with deep human storylines and no monsters knocking the crap out of each other.

I watched it last night because my toddler loves "monster" movies. She fell asleep. I kept telling my wife that there was no plot progression. Nothing felt earned in any way. They just jumped from scene/locale to scene. Things were just inserted and said to exist without having any justification. It was pretty terrible, disjointed, unearned and not even that exciting. And I watched it in my theater on a 4K 120" projector with a full Atmos sound setup. I did not miss any of the "experience" at least as much as streaming can be considered the full experience.

Pitch Meeting summed it up pretty well...

Yeah, I think that's fair. It could have just been a 10s clip of someone waving their hands with magic-y sounds and accomplished the same thing though.....

Don't get me wrong, I love a big brain dead bombastic action movie as much as the next guy. But this ain't it. This went for the Transformers school of "if things are loud enough and move fast enough, people will just be entertained enough that they won't think about the plot holes, etc" school of film-making. Except it instead plodded along with that Godzilla really needs to poop kinda waddling gait he has (yeah, I know, you can't get that visual out of your head now) for large portions and if your brain was even partially turned on it woke up to check your cellphone for a new work email (no, there wasn't, bummer....) and then you had time to think about the idiocy you've just been watching for the past 10 minutes since you last did that.

The VFX team did a great job though.
EDIT: Just looked up the VFX team and it makes sense. They did some of the work on The Martian, the "live action" Lion King and Jungle Books and, more impressively, the Rachel replicant in Blade Runner 2049. When I watched it, I thought they had actually just taken cut footage of the actual actress or something to make her look like she did in the original, not a completely CG character. WAY better than the CG Princess Leia and Moff Tarkin Disney utilized for the Star Wars movies.

Quoted from Darscot:

I really wish I fit better into the pinball market. I don't know if I missed the window by a couple of years or what but these pins are killing me. I'm just so done with Marvel, Star Wars, Baby Dead Pool, TMNT, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Elvira, The Munsters now we are talking Rush. I'm Canadian and that shit makes my ears bleed. Does no one like Scorsese, Tarantino or Kuberick, how about a Blade Runner or Gattaca. How about any band that was pissed off in the 90s.

I said earlier that I think, even as a not huge fan of the movie(s), that Blade Runner would make for a phenomenal pin
