Quoted from pinballjah:

Rocket City Pinball, only on FB for now[quoted image]

Thanks for the shout out! I'm a huge Rush fan myself and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my 3D Start Button for this game, so I went for it. It came out beautifully -- the sparkle black starfield is gorgeous and the Solar Federation's red star burns formidably through it.

I just released my 3D Coin Reject Buttons for it today as well.

Quoted from NC_Pin:

I just watched the Rush Documentary on Netflix. I was pretty surprised at how silly, and almost goofy, Alex and Geddy were in real life. They seem like very normal guys.

Beyond the Lighted Stage is one of the best music documentaries I've ever seen. Excellent commentary by many other actors & musicians, and of course the band themselves. I've shown it to family/friends who just don't understand Rush or why I love them, and it's really helped them appreciate the band -- even if they're still not fans of Geddy's voice.

100% recommended for anyone who appreciates music and is willing/interested to learn a little more about Rush.

Quoted from kool1:

I bumped into Geddy once at a sub shop when I was a teenager. Sadly I had nothing to sign (pre-Smartphone) but he was super nice..

That's amazing!

Quoted from DrDQ:

at the Meadowlands.

Hey DrDQ you caught my attention here because that's where I saw my first Rush show ... I looked through your tickets -- we were both at the 6/27/15 show at Prudential!

I saw them for the first time there in NJ in 1997 with a good friend, and twice more over the next few years ... then I saw them two (maybe three?) times in FL in 00s-10s, but I flew back to NJ for that last show at Prudential. I went with the same friend as that first show back in 97.

That Prudential show was the one where they played Losing It, amazing to finally hear that one live.

With the recent posts talking about dates of announcements and whatnot, all I can say is: it'd be a shame to be this close to 21 Dec (2112) and NOT use that date.

Quoted from RobF:

I have a paid in full invoice and I heard from my distributor last week that it has been postponed indefinitely, but Stern is still trying to find a slot to squeeze it in.

Should've read the quoted post first ... thought for a second you were talking about Rush and almost had a stroke. You were referring to Iron Man vault, phew!

So it turns out that Tom Smykowski's "Jump to Conclusions" game (in the movie Office Space) is actually about The Next Stern Pin thread on Pinside?

With Jaws, there'd better be a mech/toy where the big shark pops up out of the water (playfield) and you have to shoot the ball into his mouth. Missed opportunity otherwise.
