I’ve been writing down ideas for a crazy pinball machine that has 6 never seen innovations. I recently realized my plans would go best with a Doctor Strange theme which is in the wheel house for Stern to produce...especially with a sequel coming out in a couple years. I wish I knew who to contact at Stern to discuss this with.

A JAWS pin could have some great toys like a shark cage, life guard chair, helicopter, the Orca and Jaws could be the next Groot.

Would be cool to hit some shots and have the Orca slowly sink into the playfield.

Hitting Jaws teeth opens his mouth to lock balls and then on the one side of his mouth you could have a scuba tank slide forward and hitting that is a mega jackpot.

Drop targets could be shaped like shark teeth or those yellow barrels from the Orca.

A harpoon shot similar to the canon shot from AC/DC would be a sweet touch.

Lower playfield simulating underwater could integrate with the theme.

I could go on and on. Probably easier for Stern to contact me. I have other ideas and I’m cheap.

If they did BTTF might I recommend that some of the playfield can change or rotate to transform to match the year.

Lemme explain. You start the game in 1985 and through a serious of shots you can hit 88mph and go to 1955, 1885, 2015 or even alternate 1985! depending on which shots or mode you go into.

So let’s say you have the big center toy as the clock tower from 1985. When you go into 1885 the clock tower rotates and you now see the under construction wood clock tower. In 1955 it would rotate and have Doc and a cable hanging off it. In 2015 it is futuristic and in alternate 1985 Biff’s Casino Hotel rises up behind the clock tower.

You could do the same with a vehicle on the playfield and have it rotate to show...

1885 - the train used to push the Delorean
1955 - Biff’s red classic car
1985 - Iranian’s bus
2015 - Hover Delorean
Alternate 1985 - ????

Drop targets and other elements could transform to match the time period too.

If they are gonna do it they might as well squeeze in all 3 movies and swing for the fences.

Also, forgot to mention a Price is Right pin. Just imagine using the LCD screen to play the different games like Plinko, Hole in One, PunchaBunch, Switcheroo, etc. Not sure how the playfield would be set up but I think it’d be an easy design with soooo many elements to drop in.

I said many months ago that the right designer could do some wild new things with a Doctor Strange pin. Think about how the game could penalize a player by using the Time Stone and roll back your score. Has a game ever had that feature before?

I like all the ideas suggested for a Time Stone feature in Dr Strange especially the pulling of the ball with magnets. Maybe the “action” button could be used like the Magna Save on Black Knight. If you qualify the action button and the ball is headed SDTM you can quickly press it and magnets pull the ball up the middle of the playfield, swirl it for a few seconds and then release.

Had an oddball thought. What if Stern was putting out a Volume 2 for GOTG?

GOTG has been a solid seller (heck they are still doing small batches of Pros...3 years on) and the machine is fairly universally loved.

The upcoming Stern announcement is not regarding a game. They are introducing an HDMI Adaptor to help streamers display their score screens.

I have it on better authority it’s “Aunt Becky Gets Passed Around Cell Block D”

If Stern’s gotta go super heroes...why not this plucky group of kickassery?

Deadpool plays great, BUT no Ryan Reynolds and movie cut scenes = not worth the money.

I’ll say it again.
They are still doing limited runs of GOTG. What other 3 year old game can state that? It has been a big seller and so an Infinity War style game makes sense to Stern’s bank account.

Will this new machine be any good? We don’t know yet.

For me it will have to have...
1) tv screen with scenes from Infinity War and Endgame
2) real movie dialogue
3) Infinity Gauntlet toy where real stones move and click into the gauntlet as you collect them
4) 3 or 4 flippers
5) an upper playfield
6) one crazy unique new feature

Yeah, 2 of the top grossing films of all time with a vast laundry list of huge Hollywood stars.....why would anyone want that put in a pinball machine? I’d rather have 16bit comic style graphics.

Stern did a pinball specifically based on the films Infinity War and Endgame? Please tell me the name of that pinball machine...I’d like to play it.

So you can’t point me to the Stern machines based specifically on Infinity War or Endgame? Thought so.

They’ll wanna get it into homes for XMAS so production will be going on ASAP.

What if the new Marvel game was called “Thanos”? You play as the villain. And you have to collect the 6 Infinity Stones to win.....and when you win you get a second piece of software to upload and then battle against and defeat the Avengers? Like 2 games in one. That ever been done before?
