I usually just go with the flow. Maybe because I usually guess wrong. So here is another bad guess. If "Godzilla" is the code name for the next music pin, then what about Blue Oyster Cult?

Of course as long as I'm being self indulgent, how about a Pogo Pinball. (forgive me Walt). "We have met the enemy and he is us!"
As long as we are having a moment where we could dream, my dream pinball would be a Monty Python "Holy Grail" pinball. The shrubbery multi-ball would be awesome and the bring out your dead bonuses. The thought of it all just gives me the chills.
It is my honest opinion that there will be only one more release in 2020. Production is still behind. If they can do one more release and catch all the dealers up by the end of the year, it would be quite a feat.
I have it on good authority that the next Stern release will be a music pinball. It is the long awaited Leo Sayer "Dancing the Night Away."
I don't think there will be another pinball from Stern in 2020. I think the factory and dealers need to get themselves upright from the COVID-19 situation. I would be glad for them to get back on track with a new pin in January.
It is my understanding that Stern is back on schedule. That the next release will be after the first. It seems like they did pick up the pace because Avengers and TMNT were released closer than usual. The was due to the COVID-19 issues. As a dealer, I am glad. We need the time to get caught up as well.
It is fun to think about all the different possibilities. Just part of what makes pinball fun. Today I was thinking about a M*A*S*H pinball. A Hot Lips multi-ball would be a blast.
I doubt very seriously if there will be a Stern release before the new year. They have a hot pinball that they have not been able to fill all the orders. They are backed up and do not plan to catch up until June. Finally I believe Stern wants to get back on schedule. (Like all of us.) My guess is early 2021 and it will be a Steve pin as we have not seen anything from him in 2020.
Quoted from beelzeboob:You could put the Lovely Lennon Sisters on the topper and have them blow bubbles...all for just $333 per sister!
Wan't bubbles the name of their dog?
I would love to see a fresh title. If we have to revisit themes, how about a villain pinball? Darth Vader, Joker, LeChuck, Jack Torrance, Red Skoll, Leatherface. Caprica Six, Michael Corleone, Nurse Ratched, Handsome Jack, Venom, Norman Bates, Kahn, Frieza, HAL 9000, Loki, Kefka, Xenomorph, Moriarty, Dr.Doom, and last but not least (for all you hard core superman fans) Solomon Grundy
We warrantee everything we sell, new or restored for a full year. Always have. For 79 years. It's just good business.
I have not posted here in a bit. Guessing that Venom and God Father are coming. God Father could be very cool.
As long as we're indulging childhood and childlike whims , I want a Banana Splits pinball machine. Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snorky. Tra-la-la.
The pinball I really want to see that might be realistic is a Darth Vader pinball. Black on black with a chance to change the trajectory of the movie. The empire wins. Maybe an emperor multi-ball. "Luke I am your father" and Luke joins the dark side. A good villain pinball would be a nice change of pace.
I have a 60th in my showroom. I really like it. I am an old guy and it sort of throws back in a way that appeals to me.
The thing I like about JAWS is that it would be a fresh title. Marvel, Star Wars, James Bond, and a host of other titles have multiple incarnations. I look forward to fresh from anywhere.
I offered to Jack, a George Carlin pinball, he didn't think the world was ready for it. You could shoot balls into the heckler's mouth, collect the seven words you can't say on TV and on and on.
