Last year was it TPF where stern announced their 2018 roadmap? I’d be curious to see if they provide that communication again.
They had a great year in 2018 IMO
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:Unfortunately there is a whole generation that thinks Goldeneye is the best Bond movie. I blame Nintendo for this.
Maybe not the best but the characters/casting and writing is actually quite good.
Quoted from newovad:Also, slightly confusing press release.
That is not the Star Wars booth. Nowhere near it. Perhaps they'll have the Star Wars pin there too.
Good catch, it looks like 2913 is a bunch of exhibitors with Star Wars related crap
Principle Skinner and Mrs Krabapel were in the closet playing Stranger Things pinball and I saw one of the pins and it looked at me
Quoted from mrclean:Haha I knew people would dig into the other Data East titles.. Honestly one that comes to mind which I think could be absolutely incredible with the same treatment as the current games have been getting is Tales From The Crypt.
My prediction for Stern Dec 2020- Dec 2021 :
Led Zeppelin
Back To The Future
Some unexpected title... like Heavy Metal, Primus, etc
JAWS
Tron VE or Tron 82' version
Honestly I'm a huge fan of Stern, but if Harry Potter were to come out, I'd want it to go to JJP... just suits them better.
Tftc would make a great pro. Not exactly sure how they would jazz it up for a Prem/LE.
Stern seems to be going with popular mainstream licenses. I would love to see a fast and furious game done by Steve Richie
He doesn’t seem like the same guy.
I don’t listen to pinball podcasts but that K guy seems to be the person that pinside absolutely loves to hate.
Any insider rumours or Tips is what keeps me going.
I hope the next stern isn’t a music pin. Unless it’s queen because my dad would really love one.
If I had to guess from previous speculation I’d say it’s a Bill & Ted game. Not sure how I feel about that though. Plenty of other great themes.
Quoted from Mattyk:Anyone remember the Choose Your Own Adventure books? It would be cool to have a pin that had the depth to go in different directions depending on how you play it. Maybe there are games like this and I just can’t think of them. I haven’t had a coffee
yet
Game of thrones is basically this.
