Quoted from unigroove:

With Iron Maiden doing a new tour, it will be interesting to see whether the game will be mentioned/advertised in the tour program. Bally did that when they came out with KISS, and although that were different times and Bally at the top of their peak, it may have contributed to the success of the game.

I’m sure there are arguments to be made about who it falls on to promote the machines but... did Metallica (or Kiss or Aerosmith) advertise/promote their own machine in tour flyers or in any media other than through stern? Considering it’s a great game and all getting the band to talk up the game might move a few extra units or at least let their huge fan base know there’s a machine made after their favorite band. Would have loved to hear them casually mention it when they appear on Howard Stern etc. If only there were a job that could allow me to tour with them, set up a few pro & premium models in the venue and lure some fans in to play...

Quoted from DS_Nadine:

If it's Bill & Ted I want an elevator ball lock that pops out of the playfield.
Thats the only thing for any of those games that I wish for.
I don't need Keanus voice either, get me that Dude from the JM pinball.

I wonder which mech they'll recycle from the past as the phone booth... maybe the xfiles filing cabinet, dr evil/iron monger mech (which is my bet) or the elevator in Aerosmith redone as a phone booth.

Oh no... "Last Jedi home Edition"??

maybe an endgame version? it had the snap and the dust... I'd prefer a whole new game but I guess we'll see

Quoted from seenev:

This wouldn't be a great way to announce or tease a whole new game.

remember this is Stern, they don't have the best track record in the game unveiling department

Quoted from Zukram:

Fantastic Four - The forgotten Avengers!

a Fantastic 4 machine would be awesome. 4 players co-op mode plenty of material to work with. so that probably won't happen

If there is a Foo Fighters pin coming, I hope it has nothing to do with this cringe fest....yikes!!!

what exactly are you going to base a foo fighters game on? that movie is probably your safest bet

Quoted from Grantman:

Did anyone want an Avatar pinball machine the first time around? There are so many good/popular themes mentioned in this thread why would they try Avatar again? Take your pick of BTTF, Bond, Jaws, Marvel (Venom, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, a new Spider-Man, etc.), a new Batman, Cobra Kai, Top Gun, Mission Impossible, a new Simpsons (Treehouse of Horror), etc.

I loved James Cameron movies growing up and was excited when he announced he was working on Sci-Fi again... that is until I saw the trailer for the first Avaturd. I didn't care for the movie or the hype surrounding it, the 3D gave me a headache to boot... but I at least give Stern credit for taking a chance & picking a then new/current theme instead of any of the things mentioned above... Maybe this is why the Guardians pin came out around the time of the sequel. Bank on the success of the first

a Cobra kai pin would be great

the closest thing to a Daft Punk machine you'll get is Tron Legacy... Awards are bullshit though, RAM was a great sounding album but I haven't listened to it much since it came out. I still listen to Homework & Discovery + the Tron soundtrack (even though that's more of a collaborative deal than solely theirs) quite a bit.

Quoted from eabundy:

Indiana Jones 5 is in the can now, coming out next summer, seems with the extremely high prices of the williams and stern indiana jones tables, that a new souped up pin would be a prime license at this point, however I'm still holding out hope for a BTTF.

I figured Crystal Skull would be the final nail in the coffin for that series... yet here we are. My expectations for the movie are beyond low... but there have been good pins based on shit movies so. Hoping for a better BTTF game too.

Just stirring , your right .
Just used techno as a term most pinsiders would be familiar with , as compared to acid house , French House , progressive house , Electro , funk and all the other categories you could list .
