Maybe it's that Golden Girls game I've been hearing so much about. They must be in their 80s right?
Quoted from PaulCoff:mnpinball...any hints?
He allready hinted.
Edit: Before I get more PMs - he hinted that "TMNT is not next". That's all. Sorry for the ruckus.

Little China - no way. Goonies - no 50 year old male is going to buy one - disqualified. Bond - removed.
We’ll make it easy for mnpinball , pick a letter ...
A ) BTTF
B) Die Hard
C) Blade Runner
D) Beetlejuice
Kman may be revealing theme on Monday ...

BTTF is a confirmed "No". Also, don't forget about Top Gun. And I call BS on the reasoning that Goonies won't sell to 50 year old males because you say so.

What happened to Godzilla?
Beetlejuice is a confirmed "No". (Unless some new talent want's to make it.)
JodyG - Why is BTTF a confirmed no? As far as I remember BTTF is "not available" for pinball at the moment according to Robert Müller. That sentence only means you couldn't license it now. It doesn't mean it hasn't allready been licensed (and therefore it isn't available for pinball at the Moment for the competitors).
Robert is a lawyer. Most things he says are intentionally vague/ not as absolute as you might think and intentionally have a backdoor.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:Godzilla was every decade starting 1960, but 80’s was slow for it. Top Gun added. Goonies is worse than originally thought and will never be seriously considered.
This is not what I meant.
Stern HAS the Toho Godzilla license and says it wants to use it.
So for a game that is pretty much confirmed it's coming, you should include it.
I want to also add that there was no music pin this year yet.
What most of you may not knwo is that, to aquire the Beatles license, Stern also had to assure they'll release a "Plastic Ono Band" machine.
Quoted from DS_Nadine:I want to also add that there was no music pin this year yet.

Haha. If it is a music pin then there would be many to choose among, but with rumored hype that this theme will blow your mind, I am sure bands can be ignored from consideration. If Beatles didn’t make everybody wet their pants, then what would? Spinal Tap would be a cute theme but not strong enough.
Quoted from frankmac:Pretty sure it is Top gun..
Have you seen the trailer for the new one? Some of those shots looks amazing. I think this will be an IMAX visit for me. Knowing Tom Cruise is actually flying and doing his own stunts makes it pretty cool as well.
I've been fantasizing about a real Top Gun machine for a long time. Please make it not be a crappy fan layout with two ramps and two scoops....please!!!
Quoted from JodyG:Also mnpinball said Jaws isn't happening 75 days ago.
That was so 75 days ago

The "rumor" was that "some People will be very excited about that theme".
There will allways be "some people" excited about any theme.
In Addition, it's not like Stern does their meeting:
- "Ok guys, what the shittiest license that we can get so noone will get excited?"
- "What about the Emoji movie? It's kind of trendy but everyone hates them?"
- "Great idea but for cost saving measurements just we'll just license the poop emoji to really emotionally Transfer the Quality of the game"
- "Deal. We do a Pro, Home and Shit Edition!"
- "This will be a real turd!"
- "As long as it's on the line it's my favorite game!"
What I want to say is:
Read trough marketing speech and don't ride the hype train exaggerating everything said... you'll only be disappointed because nothing could hold up to your expectations.
Quoted from Pinballpal:Man if they do He-Man, Transformers Generation 1 or Voltron I will go ape shit .
I think those Voltron rights are still really screwed up in licensing problems where the Japanese company accidentally gave perpetual rights to the US company and has been trying to undo that for years.
Sign me up for top gun. love LOVE that movie.
I'm not close to 50, but goonies not appealing to them? interesting.
I'm sick of old old themes like munsters (snooze) elivra (snooze), etc. 80s is where it's at.
Quoted from DS_Nadine:I want to also add that there was no music pin this year yet.

I would love a Motley Crue!!

Looks like a good one!!
Quoted from Jason_Jehosaphat:Sure based on...?
Not a fact ! Lots of talk about it .
I think Top Gun could make a great pin.
Quoted from PinMonk:Well, not the WHOLE universe...[quoted image]
Would absolutely love a big trouble in little china machine.
Quoted from Pinballpal:Man if they do He-Man, Transformers Generation 1 or Voltron I will go ape shit .
He-Man, that would be awesome
Quoted from MANTO1975:Would absolutely love a big trouble in little china machine.
How about Escape from New York?
Quoted from kciaccio:How about Escape from New York?
While that would be great, it has to have them both (Escape from LA starts when you enter "self-pardoy mode") or even let the pinball be a sequel.
You just need Snake entering somewhere fucked up, dieing and needing to rescue someone.
Why wasn't Kurt Russel in any Expendables movie?!
Quoted from kciaccio:Funny thing is..It could be a deep pinball machine.
It would certainly be spicy.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:TMNT is the final cornerstone this year. Next year's first cornerstone pin should ship in Jan and as to what that theme it is ??? Stern hinted it was an 80's theme.
80's theme's already done -> Star Wars, Ghostbusters, IJ, BTTF, Terminator and Transformers. Stern won't do horror themes like Friday 13, Nightmare on Elm, Halloween, Gremlins or Chuckie. This leaves possible themes after TMNT -> another BTTF, Die Hard, Blade Runner, Beetlejuice or James Bond. That pretty much is the whole universe from that decade, excluding ongoing rock band acts.
According to mnpinball tmnt is not the next game. Has he ever been wrong?
Quoted from Capn12:Zeppelin reskin would be....anti-climatic.
It might as well be a Greta Van Fleet pin.
Quoted from Pinaddikt:I would love a Motley Crue!!
Not a big Motley Crue fan but I really liked The Dirt on Netflix. I highly recommend it, but don’t watch it with kids around.

Whitewashed. Read the book.
Had to post this. Spotted it today in a magazine at the hospital. Too F’n funny. What a way to get pinball out to the masses.

Quoted from Wakky:Gary has made it very clear there will be no Bttf as it's done. Even standing in his office and someone asked again he got very annoyed and said LET IT GO ! Then he stormed off ...
I know I am going to be an outlier on this but a Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror would make a great pin. Campy horror always sells well. Also got the call that my 3livra is ready to be picked up!!
Quoted from PinMonk:Whitewashed. Read the book.</blockquote
I didn’t realize it was based off a book....WOW. I will check it out.
Quoted from delt31:Sign me up for top gun. love LOVE that movie.

I think Top Gun has the best chance to wrangle in old and young!
Quoted from PaulCoff:Spotted this American Girl pinball machine today in a magazine while at the hospital.
Product Features: Pinball arcades were incredibly popular in the ’70s, and Julie loves to try to beat the high score! The Flip Side pinball machine works just like a real one, with flashing lights, a digital scorekeeper, a plunger to launch the metal ball, buttons to control the flipper arms on either side, bumpers, and realistic machine sounds. It’s made of real metal and wood. (Doll sold separately.)
SKU#: GDW97 $150.00 or 3 payments of $50.00 each
Must be the pro model.

Jaws is dead. It was the codename for JP. Printed on labels on the JP playfields.
