Quoted from thecashier76:I think my cell phone has a larger display than that.
It looks like the small displays from inside the real pins.

I was just going to say the same thing.
Quoted from thecashier76:I was just going to say the same thing.
It makes sense to use it. Man I am scratching my head on this one.
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:Things must be different over there. I will remember to avoid your "friendly" neighborhoods.
To get that straight... XD
I just wanted to say with that it sounds like a trivialized/ belittled/ sweet version of 'rape' (wich you can't play down/ trivialize etc).
Quoted from DS_Nadine:If they're smart (they are) the topper'd work with that one.
This thing is the topper
Did Stern not say they were going to be announcing a new game at a booth that had a different number than the one associated with Star Wars? If so might there be an announcement there about a proper new game?
I could be mistaken, I did not follow their hype machine closely
Quoted from KoSLoW:This screen is so ugly
You could mount one of these in front of the screen for $40 .

from Arcade 1 as they are bringing out their
new SW retro game next year I believe.
Sure, but these are vastly different price points. The home edition pin is still thousands of dollars more.
Quoted from Dkjimbo:What a disappointment. A used Star Wars pro is 4200-4500, there is literally no reason for anyone to consider a Star Wars home version.
I agree with this sentiment. However, it's a lower price point for a new product. This may enable it to be sold in more "pedestrian" venues. I don't think these are not targeted at established hobbyists primarily.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:did it help?
It did! It's only correlation but I haven't heard local people say that in 2 years, and as well the number of women competing is way up.
Quoted from frankmac:Lyman Sheets is on code.
You track record of accuracy isn't looking great so far....
Quoted from kermit24:You track record of accuracy isn't looking great so far....
Joke!
Quoted from cait001:so are those 3 tie fighte drops guaring the left Death Star ramp?
Quoted from cait001:I re-watched it recently and couldn't get over how poorly it aged. It's pretty rapey. I love musicals but the sun is setting on that one.
On that note, they could totally get away with a Hamilton themed pin.
hamilton the musical, or a pin based on mark (or dorothy) hamil[l]?
Quoted from kermit24:You track record of accuracy isn't looking great so far....
Not to many people had the real info on this. Most of the info was released Tuesday 7-16-19 around 12:00 noon to Distributers and industry insiders.
Stern did a pretty nice job keeping it sealed.
It looks like a slightly modified Spider Man Home Edition. Same sorta shot geometry, but the ramps are different. I think I spy some pops back there.
Man what a disappointment. C'mon Stern.... Really?? This reminds me of the BIG physical enhancement to the Black Knight pin and all it ended up being was a post added to the upper playfield. Oh well, I'm going back to watching FAIL videos on Youtube besides this announcement.
Yeah, looks like drops guarding the ramp with a airball shield installed. Looks like something at top of right ramp as well and another airball plastic.
No idea what the angled thing is on ramp in front of Death Star, and I thing I see two spinners up the middle or a spinner and a drop, can’t tell.
Chewy makes a appearance too!
That Playfield looks more fun than the original SW pro playfield to me
No more launching into that targetbank and into the outlane twice in a row

Quoted from j_m_:hamilton the musical, or a pin based on mark (or dorothy) hamil[l]?
was think the Broadway musical Hamilton. As it sits, Tommy is the only pin based on a stage musical.
(Phantom Of The Opera isn't related to the stage production iirc)
Aka almost the price of the regular star wars pro
They are doing this as a distraction, the new game will be revealed next week
"... announced today the Star Wars™ Pin™, a new stylish, affordable and fun pinball machine designed and engineered for the home."
Such a deal! Usually you only get two out of the three at best.
(Sorry ... couldn't resist poking the marketingspeak: I would think/hope that "fun" was already covered by the word "pinball.")
Quoted from Billy16:Nice call to those who predicted this release--you were right!
NO, THEY DOOMED US TO THIS FATE WITH THEIR PROPHECIES!
Quoted from Honch:Not all of us.

I don’t think this is a bad idea. A lot of homeowners can’t afford a pinball machine. But with that being said, the price on this should be $2,995. JMO

It offsets the "I have a Star Wars Avatar so I hate everything made for Star Wars for some reason" club.
BTW, you guys should change your name; doesn't roll off the tongue.
