This may not be the thread for this question, but when did Kaneda become such a "big deal" in the pinball world? I remember a few years ago, he was the butt of every joke and the pinside whipping boy. What changed?

Noobs. I paid attention to kman when I first got into pinball. Doesn't take long to figure out he's just a hype man. It gets old quick.

I have a TBL and the build quality and support is AMAZING. Its also a super cool game. I would love to see what they could come up with if they have the license.

No question DP nailed the theme but after getting all the issues sorted it SEEMS like they only ship 12 games a month. They couldn’t handle the demand for BTTF.

I was more referring to people who wanted to upgrade but ya I guess... A vault was all but confirmed a long time ago.

It’s a Re-run of a cornerstone. Cornerstones are always cornerstones: Mainstream licenses with Pro/Prem/LE. Non-cornerstones are weird games with license partners such as Kapow…different or no tiers - like Primus, Bond 60, Elvira, Batman 66, Beatles, Heavy Metal, Supreme.

No the point is cornerstone typically means an ongoing run product, it has no set timeframe and will be continued to run. I don't mean the type of pin it is. From their social media this is a limited release so that sounds like it's not going to be an ongoing run product

It only says Limited Time on Facebook - not in the email, Stern of the Union Page or the poster.
They probably have some noob running their social media. It's a cornerstone - the art isn't even different.
It could have a 1 year license extension instead of 3..... that would be a "limited time".
No way they run it for a month and stop = Season 5 will run thru the middle of the year (or later due to the strike).

Stranger Things already was a cornerstone, so it always will be. All games end their runs eventually. Covid put a dent in STh original run…this is a correction due to current demand.

They haven't started filming, so season 5 won't be till 2025 at the earliest. And the actor strike still ongoing could push that to 2026.
If it's not really limited that's great, but do wonder if they can really make this last till the next season at this point
If you're buying for home use I wouldn't bother with the pro, especially now that premiums aren't going to sell for $13-14k.
I think the projector really adds to the overall experience and if they did anything to make the TK lock more reliable it's a no brainer

I didn't realize they hadn't started filming - I thought it had started and then was paused.

Ehhhh, if it's 2025-2026, darn that's a wait (Really looking forward to the last season).
Per my guy it’s a shit ton of pros first for locations. Build is in Nov. then premium with no limits. Shit ton of allotment on it not limited by any means. Maybe new projector. Same pricing as venom. Running toppers and uv kits again for them.

So basically an old Eddy design doing the job the new Eddy design couldn't. Gota keep the line running till deep see fishing season opens!
