Sparks would have to be like 15 different art packages, based on the variation in styling between albums!

I'll buy it if there's a Moroder Multiball with Giorgio rocking the keys and the breakdown toward the end of "Number One Song in Heaven" as the background music

Cool Places Multiball, Balls multiball, With All My Might Ball Save, strutting Ronald mech, art packages alone!

Quoted from John-Floyd:

Very sad to see the latest interview with Michael J Fox - His condition is really starting to take a toll on him. Poor guy - it's heartbreaking.

And he was one of the lucky ones with the disease. Slow progressing for him. Others not so fortunate.

It's that time of the year again , when they play The Fifth Element over and over on TV .
Cult movies like this , Big Trouble In Little China and The Blues Brothers are perfect for the Pinball buying demographic .

I saw Karl Urban was cast as Johnny Cage for a sequel to the most recent Mortal Kombat movie. Good theme for a pin, and Urban is a pinhead who did callouts for Stern Trek for cheap.

#37107 11 months ago
Quoted from Sorokyl:

What's the math here?
FF - Danger
Bond - Gomez
Rush - Borg
GZ - Elwin
Mando - Eddy
AIQ - Elwin
TMNT - Borg
ST - Eddy
JP - Elwin
Munsters - Borg
Deadpool - Gomez
IMDN - Elwin
But doesn't look like Eddy has been skipped since he was back. He's definitely up, but not "skipped" 3 times.
Also, Elwin is prolific. maybe there's something to having a constant design team. The games come out with good code, are well received, and sell well for many years.

If anyone was skipped there it was Gomez

#37108 11 months ago
Quoted from Rizmo:

If anyone was skipped there it was Gomez

I'm sure he helps out with advice, etc on everyone's designs, but Gomez is really not designing much now as a lead since he's been promoted to EVP/Chief Creative Officer to oversee it all. He basically only jumps in and takes over tables in process when designers unexpectedly are hired away and leave or get sent to prison.

His nickname at Stern now is "CODE RED."

With Stern discontinuing Rush hopefully they can get other games out. Hopefully clear up room for next release

All guesses....
Gz and FF should be keeping them at full capacity busy, right? At this point Rush has probably been off the line for a long time, correct?

they are so busy trying to meet demand that they can't get Rush expression lights and toppers shipped out.

Plus, Elwin's cornerstone, which he said has been long done and completed, is not even announced yet. He's stated he's already working on his next one.

Rush already hadn't been produced in almost a year, it hasn't been blocking the Godzillas and Elviras and Jurassics since last summer.

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Next Cornerstone Stern pin due out around 11 July 2023!
Stern delivered Foo Fighters almost 4 weeks behind the predicted time (28 February vs 30 January). This only counts Pro/Premium/Le pins. I have no idea what the next cornerstone pin will be, but most likely guess is Venom as of today (3/1/2023)
Math below.
Star Wars 5/31/2017 (147 days after Aerosmith, the first cornerstone Spike 2
Guardians of the Galaxy 11/2/2017 (156 days after Star Wars)
Iron Maiden 3/25/2018 (144 days after Guardians of the Galaxy)
Dead Pool 8/3/2018 (131 days after Iron Maiden)
Munsters 1/12/2019 (162 days after Deadpool)
Black Knight SOR 3/25/2019 (72 days after Munsters)
Jurassic Park 7/26/2019 (122 days after BK SOR)
Stranger Things: 12/23/2019 (150 days after Jurassic Park)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: 5/27/2020 (155 days after Stranger Things)
Avengers Infinity War: 9/2/2020 (98 Days after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
Led Zeppelin: 12/15/2020 (104 days after AIQ)
The Mandalorian: 5/11/2021 (147 days after Led Zeppelin)
Godzilla: 9/14/2021 (126 days after The Mandalorian)
Rush: 1/4/2021 (112 days after Godzilla).
Skipped release (Doesn’t count… publically announced Skip from Stern).
Bond: 9/22/2022 ( 261 days… after Rush… counting as 130 (261/2) due to skip.
Foo Fighters: 2/28/2022 (160 days… after Bond).
The average time between cornerstone releases is now 132 days.
Next Stern Pin is due on or about 11 July 2023.
*Note that only “cornerstone” games with a Pro/Premium/LE pricing model are included for the purpose of this exercise.[quoted image]

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

Monthly reminder. Next Cornerstone Stern pin due out on or about 11 July. Math/logic above. No idea what it is, but if my life depended on it I'd go with venom.

2 a year now so we are looking around September/October like Bond.

Interesting thing is 'they' said the additional TMNT run wasn't going to happen but the pro I just got was built Nov 17th 2022

So it seems nothing is really known about whats getting back on the line or not.

I actually have a feeling they are going to overproduce GZs and JPs to the point that they will be sitting in stock.

When another pinsider told me Stern is planning to make Zillas for seven more years I thought the same thing. Obviously, they will stop making them when they stop selling them.

I have only bought 1 NIB. If I buy a 1 year old FF in a year for less, I'm ok selling my JP for a bit less also.

I have a JP topper on backorder from last year. I noticed on cointaker's site that they want 800 for a preorder. If my distributor ups my order from 600 to 800 I'm out.

Can't get a Black Sabbath theme out of my head, Luke's wall orbit in the back, Paranoid pop bumpers, War Pigs Multiball, The adlibs from the self-titled track when you drain ("OH GOD PLEASE!").

Would also settle for a straight Ozzy jukebox pin..

Has to be Spiderman Multiverse right? Sterns in with Disney and Marvel, and Venom movies are still owned by Sony if remembering correctly. For sure they could do comic book Venom, but with how popular Spiderman is, just seems like its too good of a IP to pass up.

Spider-Verse, and all Spider-Man movies in last 20 years, is also Sony.

no way they make a Beetlejuice 2 pinball. that would have a worse reaction as TS4 right?
Beetlejuice seems like a great theme though. I found this:

Merchandising and animated TV SHOWS are Marvel/Disney. Spider-Man and his associated characters/villains MOVIES are Sony.

Even merchandising based on the movies are Marvel/Disney. So, it would stand to reason that any pinball machine would be licensed via Disney.

Just watched Michael J. Fox's interview on LIVE with Kelly and Mark (if you're wondering, it's one of my girlfriend's favorite show, big sigh..)

However, Michael J. Fox was majestic. His career and what he's done for Parkinson's. Beyond inspirational. His mind was full on, as always. Sharp and funny!

Anyhoo, Stern should commit to a BTTF with all proceeds going to Parkinson's research. I bet Michael could sign some special edition games, again, more money to research. Just a thought, carry on!

I could see them auctioning off some super special edition signed by the BTTF cast and donating those proceeds, but did you mean all proceeds from the game sales? That would be crazy.
