Still rooting for a Mystery Science Theater. I know its a bit outside mainstream, but the fanbase is large and lucrative. They (fanbase) have funded something like $12M+ in Kickstarters, and that ignores Rifftrax ones. Feels like the show would offer up great callouts and mechs that could be used.

Hoping for STERN Venom Pinball this Summer.

Looks pretty sure that Venom is finally up next. All signs point to this as the game that got skipped during the Covid slowdown, so it should be pretty far along as far as tweaking mechs, ball traps and software updates! The other rumor that I doubt is true, was the music will now be supplied by Ozzie?

This is a hard pass for me as is basically any Marvel beside Deadpool. If the game has Ozzie music from the Randy Rhoads era I might reconsider!

Next Cornerstone Stern pin due out around 11 July 2023!
Stern delivered Foo Fighters almost 4 weeks behind the predicted time (28 February vs 30 January). This only counts Pro/Premium/Le pins. I have no idea what the next cornerstone pin will be, but most likely guess is Venom as of today (3/1/2023)
Math below.
Star Wars 5/31/2017 (147 days after Aerosmith, the first cornerstone Spike 2
Guardians of the Galaxy 11/2/2017 (156 days after Star Wars)
Iron Maiden 3/25/2018 (144 days after Guardians of the Galaxy)
Dead Pool 8/3/2018 (131 days after Iron Maiden)
Munsters 1/12/2019 (162 days after Deadpool)
Black Knight SOR 3/25/2019 (72 days after Munsters)
Jurassic Park 7/26/2019 (122 days after BK SOR)
Stranger Things: 12/23/2019 (150 days after Jurassic Park)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: 5/27/2020 (155 days after Stranger Things)
Avengers Infinity War: 9/2/2020 (98 Days after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
Led Zeppelin: 12/15/2020 (104 days after AIQ)
The Mandalorian: 5/11/2021 (147 days after Led Zeppelin)
Godzilla: 9/14/2021 (126 days after The Mandalorian)
Rush: 1/4/2021 (112 days after Godzilla).
Skipped release (Doesn’t count… publically announced Skip from Stern).
Bond: 9/22/2022 ( 261 days… after Rush… counting as 130 (261/2) due to skip.
Foo Fighters: 2/28/2022 (160 days… after Bond).
The average time between cornerstone releases is now 132 days.
Next Stern Pin is due on or about 11 July 2023.
*Note that only “cornerstone” games with a Pro/Premium/LE pricing model are included for the purpose of this exercise.[quoted image]

Monthly reminder. Next Cornerstone Stern pin due out on or about 11 July. Math/logic above. No idea what it is, but if my life depended on it I'd go with venom.

Didn't Gomez say two cornerstones this year?

Also with trying to make foo, and then working through IMDN, DP, JP backlogs it doesn't seem like they left a hole in their production schedule until the end of q3?

Based off of previous releases, the next pin would be do out July 11th. That list has been accurate +/- 4 weeks (usually closer) for 2 years now, with the exception of the publically announced skip. We will see what Stern does this year and I'll keep it going but based off of previous releases, 11 July. Feel free to make your own predictions.

Oh I'm not making any predictions. Just when an executive says in December "there will be 2 games in 2023" I take that over than "based off previous cadence, minus the most recent and therefore most relevant cadence". But maybe it's a trick!

Yes, two cornerstone games this year but that does not necessarily mean 2 games* total. Does anyone else think there is going to be a surprise additional game this year? I'm guessing Venom (or whatever) around August and then a boutique game around November when they get into the new factory.

* I'm not counting Bond 60th because that was announced in September 2022.

That was NY Times headline. Again the character is Superboy, and that he was Bi. Lot of media ran with stupid headlines for this saying "he's gay!" and not really knowing who the character was. Clark Kent Superman is still Superman (theres several really) and this kid is not the new Superman still, it's a different character.

Where as my house is always super excited for a new Marvel/DC/comic book release. Really looking forward to seeing what Eddy and Dwight came up with for Venom/Spidey. Artwork will look amazing from Yeti so there’s no doubt it will look amazing, a shadow 2.0 would be a must buy here, hopefully Jacks amazing FF layout made Eddy push his design.
