Great time at the Texas Pinball Festival this weekend. My youngest son meet some of the great pinball personalities and Stern won some great hardware. Good times!

Awesome! Can you put up a pic of the Amazing Spider-Man pin? The black pin with the spidey sense. Was in the swag bag apparently.

I did not receive a swag bag. Was that something that was handed out?

AMAZING in all caps, spidey sense around the pinball, The AMAZING Spider-Man!
Stern bag or just a general show goodie bag?
Wow, this is incredible news I think an amazing Spider-Man pin with zombie yet art will be so cool. I am guessing venom will be heavily featured in the pin and maybe carnage too!

This, to me at least, makes infinitely more sense than a Venom pin. I mean...who doesn't like Spider-Man? It's been 15 years since Ritchie's version...

That would just be sick. Love to see this.

I was looking forward to venom, but Spider-Man, with venom and carnage plus other popular villians even better!!
Quoted from Apollo18:I don’t know…
I think I’d prefer Huey Lewis and the News,
In, some, sort of, “Time Machine” theme
Maybe with a flying DeLorean, maybe not
Huey Lewis guested an episode of Black List. Subsequently, it is one of the best episodes. He’s funny, personable, professional and talented. The episode was pregnant with jokes about Huey Lewis and he is a great actor too. So I second theming HL&TN into pinball and getting HL to do custom callouts. He’d be even better than Weird Al, so if Multimorphic made it, I’d buy Huey Lewis and the News P3 pinball machine.
Seems like that pin in the swag bag has put this thread on quiet mode now! It's hard to argue now what the next pin will be for a while
Quoted from Rizmo:Who is the next designer that is up at Stern? Would it be Borg, Eddy or someone else?
Eddy for sure. He has been skipped a couple times recently.
I would thank Stern if they would make a Venom pin. It would let me save some money for the next pin or a FF Premium
Quoted from Rizmo:I would thank Stern if they would make a Venom pin. It would let me save some money for the next pin or a FF Premium
That’s what I said about FF…until I saw it
Quoted from crujones4life:I would've bought it twice! Best choice for a music theme hands down.
Wait. Don't you buy all of your pins twice?
Quoted from NoSkills:That’s what I said about FF…until I saw it
Not to big into the superhero theme. Only reason why I got dead pool is because its a blast to shoot and the character is not a "normal" superhero lol. I do enjoy FF music. Also its you building a robot to fight aliens. Who can not get behind that.
Quoted from SimplePin:Wait. Don't you buy all of your pins twice?
Haha...fellow Star Wars owner?
Quoted from crujones4life:Someday...

Been waiting for someone to “snap” on this… thanks for saving me. Had to break down and use the ignore function.
All free to share our thoughts here…but its so old and played out. “Spamming” is the best term I can come up with as well.

Not a superhero fan at all of any of the movies either but do enjoy playing some pins by them, Spider-Man always fun and Avengers was fun and shoots fast.

BTTF 40 year anniversary
2025. Book it!
Lol. "Stop talking about BTTF" blah blah blah. Y'all, this is a speculation thread. It's 95% guess work until go time with some truth nuggets here and there. Dream it you f***ing dreamers!!! I am here for BTTF and will sell a kidney if needed to overpay for that one. Venom/Spider-Man next? Maybe? Probably? But hopefully 1985 is on its heels

You can't say y'all if you're in California. Going to have to ignore you now.
I'm going to throw this out there for the superhero themes
personally, I'm a fan of the comic art that stern has done for both star wars and the spider-man re-issue, so a marvel two-in-one or team-up theme would be amazing to me. this would all the designer to bring in a lot of lesser known heroes & villains like some of the ones shown below

Don't know why but i'm ever so slightly aroused by Tigra
Batman the Animated series would be amazing, definitely a top 3 animated/comic theme. It would need a lot of modes to get a tonne of the rogues gallery in, the series had alot of great performances.
Get Hamill to do some custom Joker call-outs and a number of voice talent that did the villains are still alive so you could get a tonne of custom call-outs from the villians and Lester who played Robin in the series is still alive so he’s an option. It could be epic!!

Hardest part on these ones is having good voice actors, that both sound good and can act the characters.

Unfortunately I think that ship has sailed - at least with custom call-outs - as Hamill doesn't wish to voice Joker again following the death of Kevin Conroy. He doesn't go so far to set it in stone, though. . .
Who knows what will be next. The only thing I know for sure is this. Some people will say it looks awful and its a terrible theme. While others will be like shut up and take my money day 1 once distributors start taking orders

I love BTTF but I hope it never gets remade just because how annoying the BTTF freaks in this thread are.

Everyone throws around the ,"if they made this id get an LE" but seriously THIS I would break the bank to get. The theme and assets and voice talent at thier disposal, would set it up to be amazing

Stern X-Men starring "Shitty Beast" voice acting is a cautionary tale in that regard.
MJF desperately trying to make setup for 2024 Expo. He’s coming crujones4life, get ready.

Would love me some of this. I have a hot rod buddy that did a bunch of the city scape art for the series.
