A game about a shark.... wow prepare to be underwhelmed. The fx version isn't even that good. The movie hardly shows the shark until the end... that's the point. Its the mystery and suspense of what you don't see. The most memorable part about the original is the score and that would get as boring AF after a while in a pinball game. All the Jaws sequels are so bad I couldn't even be bothered commenting on them.
Venom, James bond are so much better themes for pinball.

That’s why the shark should only pop up to eat the ball during the game’s main multiball (a la the building collapse in GODZILLA). Other mechs can be, like, the Orca (maybe it breaks over time, again like GODZILLA with its bridge).
And anyone who thinks VENOM is a better theme than JAWS is someone I just can’t understand.

Your first 2 examples were unlicensed and could be whatever they wanted and ended up being classics.
Metallica is a rock pin and has a nice library of content.
Godzilla is a decades old franchise with multiple upon multiple iterations and shows.
Jaws.... Is a bout a shark. And a boat. And there is no room for expansion or imagination.
Elwin could make ‘Shoe: The Pin’ a great game. If you don’t have an imagination then, well…we should all be so glad you’re not a game designer. I have a pretty in-depth rule set that I drew up for Friday 13th that could very easily just insert Jaws in the place of Jason and would f’n SMOKE.
I mean, ‘untitled goose game’ has 98% positive reviews and 10/10 on steam. Explain THAT. The game is literally…GOOSE. That’s IT lol
