Reading the usual amount of BTTF posts, bit less Jaws. Venom ran out of 'posting' steam a while back and not much came out of that Ozzy thing.
STERN GODS, GIVE US A SIGN..!

Good... morning?
Quoted from crujones4life:Then he must know BTTF is coming. I love how these people know so much but can't say shit. Just share what you know without giving up your source. Tell someone else and have them share. All this secrecy is bullshit. I know BTTF is in development. I choose to share that info with you. Someone(s) shared that info with me 2nd hand. See how easy that is? Now nobody knows who told me and I told you.
Gary's answer in that recent video, also told me that they are working on BTTF.
Only question is when.
Guessing September 2023.
I hope we get a good old tease campaign that lasts a week or so.
I’m going with Venom, Bond and Ozzy as a 200/1 roughy.
Quoted from hAbO:Looking at the dip targets…what could they spell? Venom?

Quoted from Stormfront:I'm going to throw an idea out there that hasn't been beaten to death.
Why not a Dungeons and Dragons pin? The game is more popular now than it ever has been. Also, you have the new movie coming out soon too. I think this would be a winner.
if you want dwarves, elves and wizards just go to the source and get a LOTR or Hobbit. I'm not sure what plain "D&D" could add besides some silly dice rolling randomness mechanic. The most popular DND characters are from the RA Salvatore's Legend of Drizzt series, and while I personally would buy an LE Drizzt pin, i just don't think they'd sell enough.
Did you say 2001? Monolith mode with ear breaking speaker feedback. I'm in!

I thought it was ok, but I'm fucking over 2 out of every 3 posts being about a BTTF pin that doesn't exist.
Quoted from herbertbsharp:can everyone stop with the BTTF shit? Has anyone watched it lately? Jesus, it's dated and it sucks.
No, is it real

Plus, there already is a Dungeons and Dragons pin. Bally, 1987 I think.
someone PM me when there's something worth reading in this thread LOL. I wish I could stay away but I can't...
Quoted from Krupps4:Plus, there already is a Dungeons and Dragons pin. Bally, 1987 I think.
Um... sir, I'm not sure what your point is. There's also a back the the future pin..and there was already a Godzilla pin, and there were already 2 Elvira pins. And a TMNT pin.
We've clearly run out original ideas for pinball machines and are just arguing about which theme should be reused again next.
A shift away from classic rock themes would be nice but I understand the logic behind them.
Some more recent IP that I'd like to see: John Wick (we almost had it!), Fast and Furious, a dedicated Black Panther, Avatar Way of Water, Dune, Spiderverse (Miles Morales theme), Mission Impossible.
Easiest way to know BTTF isn’t coming soon: Elwin would 1000% do that title. He’s doing JAWS right now. They’ve made that obvious. With the cycle of designers JAWS is probably the 3rd game they release, which puts it in line for Spring/Summer 2023. (Since Eddy and Gomez probably have games coming first). If BTTF is a real license it won’t drop until 2024.
Quoted from Sorokyl:We've clearly run out original ideas for pinball machines
I completely disagree. There are so many themes out there that have never been used. I don’t think we are to the point where there are no original ideas for pinball left.
Quoted from greatbelltoad:Some more recent IP that I'd like to see: Dune
Dune was published in 1965. Still the greatest single SF novel ever written.

- Physically demanding game shows (Wipeout, American Gladiators, Ninja Warrior)
- "Newer" music pins (hip hop, grunge, ska, hair metal)
- Action sports (snowboarding, skateboarding)
- Video games (Portal, Zelda, GTA, RDR2, Splatoon, Pokemon, Overcooked... maybe Sonic )
- Anything Harry Potter
- Comedies (Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Superbad, Beavis & Butthead, Bob's Burgers)
- General unlicensed themes (disc golf, evil lab science stuff, hell even last mile delivery could work)
Meanwhile... at Stern - "Hey, so we got Venom done, that no one asked for. So, should we squeeze more juice out of the Marvel rock with Ms. Marvel or She-Hulk next?"
Quoted from demandecan55:Easiest way to know BTTF isn’t coming soon: Elwin would 1000% do that title.
Why waste him on a title that's 1000% guaranteed to be a sales blockbuster? Throw any designer at it, spend all your energy getting the precious "assets" that everyone cares so much about.
“General unlicensed themes (disc golf, evil lab science stuff, hell even last mile delivery could work)”
Lots of fun ideas there.
Give me a disc golf pin in a banzai run style back glass (for putting). Might be a new dream theme for me.
Quoted from Yoko2una:- "Newer" music pins . . . hair metal
Did anybody notice that the Rush clock on Stern’s bottle opener giveaway on FB is set to say roughly 1:24?

Why not do Spiderman . . . again. Or Batman . . . again. That's what Hollywood does.

An Into the Spiderverse theme would be great. That movie had good music, color palette, and a POC protagonist.

Batman 89

would be 100% in for this. The new movie looks awesome and the LE backglass with the upside down city shot would move units. (not that LEs need help there)
Ride the coattails of Drive to Survive with an F1 themed pinball machine. F1 fans have more money than sense.
Quoted from Hammerhead:Um, what? Hair metal is 40 years old (and sucks goats balls BTW).
And still "newer" than most of the music on AS, Kiss, RS, ACDC, ACNC, Elvis, LZ, Rush, and Beatles, which is what I'm comparing it to.

Jesus is dated, but still works for a lot of people.
Acolytes would probably take offense at him being called "it" as if he's some inanimate thing, though.

Almost had Fast and Furious, too. They changed it to Mustang when the license didn't work out.

Already had an F1 pin (rethemed NASCAR - Grand Prix) that didn't do well.

The guy that did the art is the guy that made that post, @metaluna5, Chris Franchi.

I wouldn't hold a 17 yr old game's popularity as a reason not to tap into the current success of F1.
Quoted from greatbelltoad:I wouldn't hold a 17 yr old game's popularity as a reason not to tap into the current success of F1.
Viewership was WAY higher when Grand Prix came out. I couldn't get to 2006 numbers, but I found 2008-2021.
2008 was 600 million F1 viewers. 2021 was down to 445 million worldwide. There is a social media component not around in 2008, but it's not like F1 was not popular when there was a pin for it that failed. It was MORE popular measuring by viewership. I doubt a new F1 pin would fare much better worldwide now.
Quoted from Prince66cali:AIDS was early 90s
