Quoted from PinballManiac40:

DE Star Wars was a generic themed game. Nothing specific in the game that ties in with all the different movies, other than some artwork. 3 years from now we'll see one for the new Episodes.

That's all well and good, but I just want to see Pinside's reaction if they were to do another one based on the prequels at this point.

Elton John pinball or BatMan from the 60's pinball or Seinfeld tv show.

How aboot 4 really big ones for no reason?

Quoted from PinballManiac40:

There will not be an Iron Maiden pin. How about that?

Until 2017

It'd be hilarious but Disney will never let it happen. They are staying FAR AWAY from the prequels, probably a wise move due to their negative perception.

I guess the question now is will the Batman remake come out before or after Aerosmith. I am thinking after.
I am betting Stern will load up the production line with one more run of MET and Star Trek before they are completely off the production line before Aerosmith starts shipping.

That's a long time I gotta keep this GB dog laying around my feet.

Surely Stern will make a bunch more Mets before they are out of the license. Mets are selling like mad and more that are sold the more people that are exposed and want one. Met is going to keep climbing in demand over the next year it seems.

3 year production should end this year. Time will tell if they will push more out to distributors even if there are no real orders for them. Would be wise of them to do so.

Maybe based on Rogue One? Really hoping that one brings something fresh to the table.

Seeing The Hoff, I'm pretty sure we need a Kung Fury pin!

#269 7 years ago

A kung fury / far cry bloody dragon style pin would be cool but never happen

#270 7 years ago

As for the classics, how about an updated version of Flash Gordon?

#271 7 years ago

Spiderman home version.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT!

World of warcraft would be badass. As long as they take it from the game. THe movie was pretty damn good, but would be more cartoony with the game art. Especially if they use the art from the Expansion Mini movies. Would be fantastic.

Sheesh! Down voted for posting evidence of possible next title. Tough crowd!

Someone recently posted:
Whoah Nellie re-theme (turned out to be true)
Aerosmith (we'll see. Could be Slayer?)
Batman TDK re-themed to 66 Batman.
Elvira 3.

Gremlins

The Goonies

Beetlejuice (imagine the Michael Keaton call outs)

E.T.

Batman (comic book, not Batfleck)

Batman '66 (TV show)

#280 7 years ago

gremlins or beetlejuice would be awesome. id pre order one of those right now

#281 7 years ago

Goonies and Beetlejuice would be sweet, prefer goonies though. Both movies have a ton of stuff to work with.

I know the consensus is acdc is the best seller but MET has to be up there especially since MET has the better pro. Seems like it's easy money to keep production running.

Both are average games to me. Each has its cool features though.

For me, I hope Star Wars 2017 will be a big hit.

#284 7 years ago

Is Star Wars confirmed or just a rumor? I want Alien next, but Star Wars is my next favorite Sci-Fi franchise.

Everything is a rumor until Stern makes an official announcement.

Do you think Star Wars will be next? After Slayer it seems. Would love a Star Wars pin.

March 2017.

No! Aerosmith it is!

Quoted from Ripley:

I think I would want one more than a GB.

I hope not. Not another outdated theme.

How bout something people living in the now might want?

You're wrong on this one, Odie. Star Wars is a theme that has survived for 40 years now, and is more popular than ever with the new movie reboots.

Target date: March 2017, by many accounts (after Aerosmith).

Nope. Star Wars came out in 1977 and petered out after Jedi in 1983 and they should have left it at that.

And there have already been enough Star Wars pinball machines. Take them or leave them.

You can keep your Aerosmith pinball machine too. This pinball industry has become a joke.

Let's just forget those middle 3 movies, shall we? The reboot was really well done and a return to form. And yes, all the SW machines out there currently suck. This is Stern's chance to do the original trilogy justice for once.

Then in 5 years they can give it another shot, if they are still around. But shouldn't there be a couple more Star Trek pinball machines in the meantime? Oh and of course Bon Jovi.

The 3rd one was great.

Quoted from o-din:

ut shouldn't there be a couple more Star Trek pinball machines in the meantime?

Yes, A dedicated Wrath of Khan pin or one based on the entire film series, Vger needs the information from the carbon units, I love that.

Oh yeah, F--K Aerosmith and make a Slayer Pin

Before they do any more Star Wars, perhaps they should do a better tribute to the

original Star Trek series than their parent company Data East did?

Never...EVER...say that name again.

Quoted from Hazoff:

The 3rd one was great.

Only compared to the first two of the middle 3. Compared to the others, it still sucked.

#298 7 years ago

If they can't get Shatner or Harrison Ford to sign on, they've always got that hillbilly to do stand ins on the call outs.

Quoted from beelzeboob:

Never...EVER...say that name again.

I'm actually surprised nobody here chimed in saying Bon Jovi should be the next music pin.
