Why ? Good flow on those teeth would be like a poor man's WaterPick....
PREY was incredible...
some small slight critique
• CGI needed more time to bake
• Sub titles would of worked better
Other than that I'd say by far this was the best installment since the original. I really enjoyed the tone & pacing. Loved that dog
Did Stern say what games they are archiving next? I just wish they would hurry up and announce what is coming next. This was I know wither or not I need to convince my wife.

Oh man, prey was frigan awesome! Great to finally see an action movie that isn't a carbon copy of John wick.

I was just told that Turtles is getting bump up to Sept. and it's going to be last call.

I would take my chances with the shark over this!

Lotta games being archived "early". I guess a 2 year run is the new 3 year run? Feels like Stern is gearing up for something they know is gonna be huge...

Games that didnt sell well nib.
Turn over at Stern, insider connect, Jack Danger and Elwin taking over the pin world…
They will knock it out of the park. They have a great team of very talented people and they have proven to still have solid mechanical engineers that are making the games really fun to play.
Stern/DE/Sega always had the most fun themes and that is still true today it seems
I am just wondering if Sterns new release will be as good as Godzilla .. can they have back to back home runs?.. Is Godzilla the new bar that has been set? I think so and think Zilla is gonna be hard to top
Quoted from TiltingT:I am just wondering if Sterns new release will be as good as Godzilla .. can they have back to back home runs?.. Is Godzilla the new bar that has been set? I think so and think Zilla is gonna be hard to top
If all the designers including Keith are trying to one up GZ…hopefully we see some strong pins come out. Competition, even internally, will continue to push innovation and creativity if we are lucky.

IMO Stern is getting ready to knockout punch all the upstarts.
I think 2023 will see four titles (maybe 5 with a Kapow) and they will absolutely swamp everyone else.
They don't need to have a knockout every time, they just need to suck up all the cash people have to spend.
They're clearing the line of old titles so that they can do what they do best: pump out new titles. Two months of production and *BAM* onto the next title. Rinse and repeat. I think Stern doesn't want to go back and forth anymore, just forward. It's a good plan: it doesn't let anyone catchup and keeps everyone guessing when the next hammer will drop. No one will be able to get momentum since the next Stern is always right around the corner.
There is still a chip shortage.

The chip factories they are building in Arizona still will not be operational now until March 2023. Until these factories are up and running there will be shortages all over. Not to mention the backlog everyone else has
Quick question has anybody contacted Sterns support and received a response within a reasonable time? I do have a direct contact over there that I can reach out to but I went through the Stern website and was curious how long people have waited for a response. Thanks

Usually a couple days at most. Sometimes takes 2 emails.
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:There is still a chip shortage.
Lead times on chips are 3months and lower now. It was 12 months or more last year.
It's only a longer procurement period now, not a "there aren't any" situation like before.
Quoted from screaminr:Black Sabbath - Ozzy and Tony Iommi closed the Commonwealth Games ( which Australia won )
Could be a good omen .
Thanks for sharing. I had no idea Ozzy was back. Really good. Definitely time for Ozzy pin. What’s the holdup Stern? We’ve been waiting 30 years. Come on all ready.

I kind of agree with you, I think we will see more from Stern in 2023. I also think they will pump Godzillas out there is no tomorrow.
I expect the resale market prices will come down more also as supply is catching up.

Most of the recent Sterns are in the top 25. Godzilla is special for sure but I actually enjoy playing Deadpool, Rush and Avengers more.
Doesn't have to be better to sell.

This isn't how it works.. an Application-Specific integrated Circuit (asic) like the chips on a node board, in your car, etc are designed to be manufactured on a specific lithography process which are manufacturer specific (I'll call it a node) . to move it to a new node is cost prohibitive, basically designing a new chip, almost never done.
So, the lead time for "chips" is not universal..
Furthermore new factories only very indirectly help existing products . Each factory build for one node. New nodes only used by tech that needs to be cutting edge in power or performance. Iphone chips. When a new iPhone chip comes up, it frees up the old node for production of slightly less demanding product (desktop CPU/GPU), which frees up the node that was on, etc.
tl:Dr they aren't going to be making pinball chips at any "brand new factory"

Oh Stern, you really do enjoy the trolling.

I enjoy those games as well but really love Zilla.. and I was not excited about the theme at all . The gameplay is what put it at #1 for me

I enjoy those games as well. I wasn't excited about the Godzilla theme at all really but the gameplay is what put it at #1 for me
Per @zmeny, who's one of the largest Stern distributors, we most likely wont hear about a new release until Tuesday, August 30th.
Quoted from CashMoney:who's one of the largest Stern distributors
lol. But I guess it depends on how far you go down the list
That said, if he says August 30th I have no reason to doubt that.

For sure. I don't know anything about Godzilla but it's fun!
