Take my money Gary. I want BTTF.
Quoted from ultimategameroom:Star Blazers ! I bought the entire series on DVD about 10 years ago. Great show. Hard to believe it’s from 1979.
I gave a few discs to by buddies son for Christmas. He is a huge Star Wars fan. Anyway a couple years later he was off to college. My buddy said that he didn’t take much with him but he took the Star Blazers dvds that you gave him! I asked him about it on a holiday break when he was home. He said his friends really liked it but had never heard of it before.

Really nice collection. Amazing anime. There was nothing quite like it available in the US at the time and and as a kid watching it then? It had just enough adult theme and an excellent story line that kept me coming back. I remember that it came on during the week very early in the morning before school, 1979, Exactly! Cool to pass it on to the kids & a new generation!
Quoted from TechnicalSteam:With the new movie coming.. You just can't go wrong with the BTTF hype..
New movie?
Quoted from Ballderdash:New movie?
Maybe they mean musical? There is no new BTTF movie (and there shouldn't be).
Let's hope Stern doesn't pull a Tommy "On Broadway" pinball machine.
I’m hoping for an Annie theme next
Or Land of the Lost of course
Jumanji would actually be pretty cool
Quoted from Triggerfish:Ghost in the Shell would be an auto buy for me. Robotech would also be right up there.
Ghost in the shell would be awesome. But would have to be the original movie. Not the stand alone complex. Though i did enjoy that for a bit
Quoted from Sugar:I’m hoping for an Annie theme next

Jumanji would be pretty cool! First I've ever heard someone mention that but yeah that's be a pretty cool game!
Quoted from Zartan:Until you donate to pinside your opinion doesn’t really matter! The rest of us are having a conversation!
Have to say, that is a silly statement.
I have donated to Pinside over a number of years and find it difficult to renew as there is no Paypal option anymore
I don't like Stripe and not comfortable with handing over my personal details.
Quoted from KidRichard:Maybe a bit of a deep cut, but I think Sam & Max, Freelance Police would make for a pretty fun theme. I'd love to follow the pinball adventures of an unhinged, slightly psychotic lagomorph!

Seems they have good taste in cars! 1960 chrysler/desoto……
This is the real direction I am hoping a Black Sabbath Pinball from Stern Pinball would take.
Oh man, imagine gettin' down and flippin' to this !
Best album to work with

Kong HAS to happen now that Godzilla is out. Has to....
Quoted from ExSquid:Kong HAS to happen now that Godzilla is out. Has to....
Don't know why it hasn't been done lately , it's a no-brainer .
I can picture Kong grabbing and throwing a couple of balls across the Playfield T-Rex Style .
Quoted from Kkoss24:WTF happened to the Venom eating Ozzy eating Jaws pin ?
Thankfully it appears it was all a diversionary tactic and rumor. Bring on Bond, James Bond.

Yes! like Mary Shelly's Frankenstein monster! I miss that game , my first pinball in my home.

Lol , I knew that was coming , that's why I included " Lately "

Milk and Cheese would be fantastic as well!
Can you retheme a retheme?
My wife is in the honeymoon stage with playing the virtual Beatles rethemed to ABBA. I have to admit-it is a fun game
Stern-my wife wants ABBA!

Stern-my wife wants ABBA!
I'm all for people getting their dream themes... but I want Stern to make sound financial decisions so that they keep pumping out pinball machines.
If you really wanted to do ABBA... I could see this as being 100% possible and doable for about $5,000 plus an existing Beatles.
I bet you could pass the guy who made custom code to put movie clips in JP a few thousand for video assets and music.
On the flip side, the playfield, plastics, cabinet, and translite can all be done through CPR's custom shop for a few thousand more https://classicplayfields.com/the-custom-shop/
So long as you don't mind the exact same gameplay, I think it is very doable for a one off.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:So long as you don't mind the exact same gameplay, I think it is very doable for a one off
I had the same thought-it is doable for sure
I bet if someone made a kit-they would sell them
Some of ABBA's better songs definetly get you in the groove
-Keep thinking about the possibilities of Sabbath and Stern. Would it be blasphemy to retheme Maiden to Sabbath-too taboo?
Inquiring minds want to know
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:the playfield, plastics, cabinet, and translite can all be done through CPR's custom shop
That is good to know CPR is offering customs now. Now who could do the programming? I need to find someone to help me with an older game with changing ROMS. Anyone specialize in programming?

I've looked into doing a custom game for my employer, and the easiest solution that you could actually do yourself is the CPR Custom for art, and Pinsound or other sound boards for callouts on a DMD game. If you wanted full custom, I think the early Bally's would be the easiest to do. CPR for all of the art, and you could change the callouts with a custom squalk and talk chip. I have a GEETEOH.COM board in my Fathom that is an aftermarket chip. I believe if you contacted them they could likely change out the callouts and music to something of your choice for a fee, but do not know for sure. I worked with them to get some missing sounds back in my machine and I can see how it could be done.
Quoted from Fezmid:Already have a Sonic made, only wish it was being produced for all! Great job, McSquid !
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/sonic-the-hedgehog-spinball
People say that but whoever has the licence, it must be Stern, could make a better game.
It’s the Godzilla scenario all over again, people think McSquid game was the best sonic could be? But would anyone bet against Elwin making the best sonic game possible? He’s probably have a loop the loop ramp to one up his previous ramps.

go for these these 2 nut cases !

Ren and Stimpy will never happen. Stern has shown it wants nothing to do with pedos
Kricfalusi was accused of the sexual abuse of two minors in 2018. In a report first published by Buzzfeed, a woman named Robyn Byrd shared a detailed account of alleged sexual abuse she endured at the hands of Kricfalusi when she was a teenager. She claimed that she first contacted Kricfalusi when she was 13 in 1994.

When did you start collecting?
Back in the “good old days”,early-mid 1990’s this is how things were!
Quoted from ExSquid:Kong HAS to happen now that Godzilla is out. Has to....
And then Insider Connected can let you play Godzilla vs. Kong between two tables... somehow! (I'm an ideas guy, not an implementation one, at least when it comes to this ).
Quoted from ultimategameroom:When did you start collecting?
Back in the “good old days”,early-mid 1990’s this is how things were!
It was kinda that way up until 2009-2010. Stern was still putting prototype/test games on location in the Chicago area that you could play before they were on the line. 24, BBH etc.
Quoted from Hammerhead:It has been done, it didn’t sell well
https://pinside.com/pinball/machine/king-kong
The license holder of Kong did not approve it so that’s why it didn’t happen.
