Yea I think so. New album, new tour, his presence at the con to promote it. Stern and Ozzy!
The new album, art, video, photo's.. I have to say it's really, really well done. He's well over 70 and it looks, sounds better than 90% of the crap out there today.
Has stern ever announced a new game at comic con? I know they have brought recently announced games there first. But I cannot recall an actual announcement there. Anyone know for sure?

McFarlane has history there with Ozzy with his action figures years back and now the new album underway and tour. Probably be an Ozzy pin as next music pin very soon down the road. Wishful thinking as we shall see. Venom McFarlane comic is next imo. A lot going on in that booth!

Pretty sure as I think in 2019 with Black Knight release. Scott Ian was there for the game album sale.

Im sure there are barriers due to licenses expiring for most titles but, i'd pay for quality DLC for my pins to keep them fresh and interesting.

I think it would be pretty weird to announce an Ozzy pin right after a Rush pin. I dont think this would happen but who knows. Stern announces their next pin a Venom Pro/Pre/LT as well as a home pin version. Then Ozzy will be their next collaboration with kapow which will would be shipping out early 2023. I am more than likely 100% wrong that Stern would let us know the next 2 pins. You never know crazier things have happened

Why would Kapow be involved with Ozzy? They basically are a bridge from B&M casino slot licenses. So, Batman, BTTF, Bond, etc. No connection to Ozzy I'm aware of. I doubt Kapow is involved in any Ozzy/Sabbath machine.

I think for the money. He does have 50 years of making music and thats millions of fans over the years. Its not like Batman or Bond where its been played by a bunch of different people over the years. Everyone seems to have their favorite version of that character. I am prolly wrong but nothing surprises me in this industry anymore

I think you misunderstand what Kapow does. The basic rule of thumb is if there isn't a physical slot machine already with the license, Kapow isn't involved with the pin. Slot machine licenses seem to be their bread and butter, and they use those license relationships to make the properties available to Stern.
One thing Kapow is terrible at is online promotion of their brand. Case in point: If you hurry, you can have a chance (in hell) of getting a phone call or text from Batman from beyond the grave:

I did see there is an Ozzy slot game. I do not know if its just an video thing or a physical one. That is why I kind of thought it might be a possibility. I am more than likely wrong but it is fun to speculate.

The only one that I'm aware of is an online video slot, which doesn't count. BTTF and Bond would both most-likely have Kapow involved with the pin, though, because they have physical slot machines.

Was not sure if that counted or not. I think Bond would be a risky pin to do. I looked it up there has been 12 people who played James Bond. I have no idea which Bond they would pick. Im sure if they do a James Bond machine there will be people who will be upset.

Ya know thats not a bad thought.. maybe Stern had already had this planned and the ozzy pin was already supposed to be there to be played bit all the parts issues and stuff pushed the scheduling date off and they had already paid for and planned the booth.. but no pin to reveal ...or maybe Syern just thought that it would make for great exposure and people are gonna come to your booth b3cause Ozzy and Todd are there..draws a good crowd and provides more exposure to non pinball people...only time will tell

I was just thinking the same thing...more exposure to non-pinball people that are really, really into the same license space that Stern goes after.

Ha! Exactly!! Ozzy is a definite meal ticket for Sharron.
No new pin will be announced. Ozzy pin won’t happen anytime soon let alone this year. Venom, Bond, then Jaws. No BTTF either. Just my prediction.

You may be right. The only thing that wouldn’t surprise me is if it’s Venom, however, sometimes the titles that aren’t that popular or what many people are hoping for end up being the best games! so looking forward to it the same, especially after the TS4 release. Hope it’s unique.
The thing I want to know is if no BTTF, how did all the hype start and for so long? I still think there’s gotta be something brewing.

What? I played munsters at ces with Jack, it was great! But if you had to play a game all day for 4 days at ces you may get bored?
I owned a munsters for six hours once, that’s a record for me. I beat it about eight times in three games and listed it for sale in immediately after. Astonishingly shallow yet fun to shoot. I want a game that is fun to play but hard to master, not a toy. It’s a shame too as the IP really appeals to me.
